The fight

I was in the dark city of New York riding around on my motorcycle at night when my phone buzzed againstmy thigh. I pulled out my phone from my pocket to see who texted me. To see that I got a next from the my best friend Kassia who's also known by the public as sun. "Blood Claw was spotted near 5th and Main on a rooftop. Proceeded with caution."

As I was now filled with adrenaline and concern, I revved my throttle and began running to the reported location. As I arrived I began hearing a lot of connotation going on as well as an echo of a choked out scream. I quickly climbed up the building to see Blood Claw perched on the edge of the rooftop, with a terrified man dangling by his throat in one of Blood Claws hand. A twisted smile could barely be seen due to that stupid motorcycle helmet that Blood Claw wore as a mask.

"Let him go Blood Claw!" I shouted as I pulled out my two katanas. "We both know you are better then this!" I stated as stared daggers at Blood Claw. Blood Claw then turned around slowly towards me with a smug smile spreading across his face. "Better? No, I'm just better at cleaningup this city's trash!" Blood Claw taunted as an unsettling chuckle left his mouth. I then began clenching my fist as I felt a familiar surge of anger. "Blood Claw, I'm not in the mood right now, so gently let the man go before I decide to kick your ass!" I yelled out which only caused Blood Claw to start laughing.

"What makes you think you can take me on all by your self, your just a child playing hero" Blood Claw stated with annoyance in his voice. "Fine, if a fight is what you want, then a fight is what you'll get!" I declared with a stern tone. "Fine, let's fight" Blood Claw stated as he threw the man across the top of the building as if he was just some random rag doll and immediately pulling out his guns and shooting at me. Luckily for me I'm quick on my feet and i dodge the bullets coming my way. "You think you can intimidate me with guns? I've face worse," I stated.

I then began running at him with my katana's in hand as they shined under the moonlight as he pulled out his guns and started shooing with me which easily defeated by cutting the bullets in half. As I jumped from place to place as I seemed to blur into the shadows which Blood Claw found rather annoying.

But suddenly a bullet grazed my shoulder, I winced at the sudden pain but just ignored it and kept moving. But that's when I noticed Blood Claws lips turn into a big smile. The little cut on my shoulder then began to feel like my whole face had been slashed open. I began grabbing my shoulder and screaming in pain as I tried to suppress the agonizing pain.

"I can easily make even the slightest paper cut feel like fucking death," Blood Claw taunted as his voice was low and sinister. I gritted my teeth and did my best to push past the pain as I refused to give him the satisfaction of seeing me in anymore pain then he already has.

I then quickly began running and launched myself at Blood Claw and raised my katans at him, but he began firing his guns at me once more which I easily twisted my body and maneuvered out of the way. I then slashed at the place where Blood Claw once was to see he moved out of the way but not fast enough so one of my katana ended up slashing through his jacket that had fur on it. "Is that all you got Rouge" Blood Claw sneered as pack of snarling shadow wolves appeared beside Blood Claw.

The wolves then lunged at me with lightning speed. I quickly leaped back, as I began slashing at the wolves in front of me as I deflected their attacks. One wolf snapped at my leg, so I flipped over the wolf, and slicing it down in mid air. Another wolf leaped at me from behind but I quickly twisted my body with the blades of my katanas striking the wolf.

As I was fighting of the wolves I then felt a sudden burst of pain in my leg and fell backwards. I then looked to see what happened to realize that Blood Claw had shot me in the leg. I stumbled to get up as pain shot up my leg. And just like before, my leg was in agonizing pain as my leg felt like it was in fire.

"You can't win, Rouge," Blood Claw stated as he slowly began stepping closer to me. "I control animals, I control pain, and I control fear, what can you do, slash me with a sword, you are weak compared to me," Blood Claw stated harshly.

I clenched my fist in pain and anger at the word he just spoke. I was struggling to focus on the world around me due to the overwhelming pain. I then closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

With a cry of determination, I pushed past all the pain I was feeling and sprinted towards Blood Claw. Blood Claw then raised his guns and pointed them at me but I was quicker. With a flash of steel I knocked one of the guns out of his hands, and took one of my katanas and slashed through a part of his wrist. Blood Claw roared in pain, as he stumbled back. He then stared daggers at me and then I began feeling like my whole body was being tortured by being placed in molten lava.

I was ready for this though. I gritted my teeth and through sheer willpower I ignored the torturous pain. With a final surge of energy I slashed down towards him as my katana sliced through Blood Claws remaining gun and cutting deep into his side. Blood Claw staggered back and began clutching his bleeding side. "You're getting stronger" he stated as a smirk was placed on his face.

However, while I wasn't playing quite enough attention to Blood Claw he shot another bullet which quickly went into my side which caused me to scream In pain and fall to the ground began kneeling on one knee as the warm feeling of blood began to creep out from the purple leather. Blood Claw then began walking over to me with glee resonating in his massive smile. "Oh look how much you're bleeding, how poetic," Blood Claw stated as grabbed the bottom of my face and slowly began to lift my head up so we were now eye to eye.

I quickly then grabbed his hand and chuckled. "You think this is the worst thing that has ever happened to me? I've had worse hair days than this" I shot back as I with a surge of effort I quickly picked my self up and body slammed him which hurled him to the other side of the top of the rooftop as if he was nothing but a feather. With that I ran at him and put my sword to his throat. "Game over Blood Claw, I won!" I stated sternly with confidence in my voice as I let a smirk spread across my face that no one could see. This only caused Blood Claw to start chuckling.

"Oh you think actually think you've won, how cute!" Blood Claw taunted as sarcasm laced his voice, he then made a swift motion and quickly summoned a swarm of twenty crows that erupted from the shadows, which immediately blinded my vision as they began flapping their wings in my face. I tried to shoo them away as I was disoriented since their wigs were obscuring my vision. But I then began hearing Blood Claws footsteps growing farther away from me and realized he was escaping. "Don't you dare fucking leave I swear to-" I yelled but before I could finish my sentence I heard a familiar voice.

"Rouge!" Kassia yelled out as she shooed away the crows with ease as her golden aura illuminated the darkness around us. "What happened to you!" Kassia asked as she rushed to my side. "Oh don't worry" I said, brushing it off as minor inconvenience. "I just had a little tussle with our favorite sociopathic villain," I replied as Kassia rolled her eyes, her expression a mix of amusement and worry. "Come on let's get you home" Kassia stated as she helped me down the building. "Wait what about the guy!" I yelled out in concern. "Don't worry my team is taking care of him" Kassia explained.

The ride back home on my motorcycle with Kassia driving was mostly a blur. But As soon as we arrived home to my apartment she parked it my motorcycle in the ally way. We then hurried inside as I clutch onto my side in pain. I then laid down on my couch as my breathing was sharp and unsteady. Kassia then began stitching and bandaging my wound as her hands were firm and gentle. "Next time, try not to antagonize someone who can manipulate animals and pain, okay?

I then began chuckling weakly as my playful spirit never falls to come through. "Where's the fun in that? Plus, Blood Claw has nothing on me" I stated. Kassia then rolled her eyes as a smirk was tugging at the corner of her lips showing her amusement at my statement.

After she was done stitching and bandaging me up I headed to my room and collapsed onto my bed. As exhaustion began washing over me I slowly and carefully got under the blanket on my bed. sleep then began overtaking my mind and I began to slowly close my eyes and drift off to sleep.
