Emma had been left for a long time. The alarm had stopped blazing a while ago but Natasha hadn't come back yet. She guessed that it was some kind of Avengers mission or something.

Every once in a while, a Shield agent would come in just to check on her. Emma was honestly done with waiting.

She didn't want to be in this freaking room, chained to this freakin table. She didn't care anymore if the mole in Hydra had been found yet, she would just go back and kill them herself. Dumb plan, she knows, but she's been sitting here for the entire day and she really needed to stretch.

A few minutes later, the same Shield agent came into check on her. Emma could see the chain of the necklace holding the key to her chains dangling from his neck. She had a plan.

"Ouch!" Emma started breathing heavily, squeezing her eyes tight shut.

"Everything alright?" asked the agent.

"I think something's wrong" Emma breathed out panicked.

The agent walked closer to her, his orders were to make sure she stays here, and that she doesn't get hurt. Right now it looked like she was in a lot of pain.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"My head- the back of my head-"

The agent walked around the table to where she was sitting to examine the back of her head.

Once he was close enough, Emma took the opportunity to kick her heel out and trip him. As he fell, the front of her foot hooked itself around the chain, pulling it off his neck. She brought the key to her mouth and used it to unlock her hands with her teeth.

The agent had already started to get back up, Emma used her one free hand to bring her hand to his head. She cringed at herself before smashing his head against the steel table.

The man was instantly knocked out... or dead... Emma watched as he crumpled to the ground. She shrugged and unlocked her other hand.

Emma stood up and stretched her arms out, she had to think of a plan of escape. Sure, the Avengers weren't here at the moment, but there were still agents walking around everywhere.

She peeked her head out of the door and examined the hallway. There were a few agents walking to wherever they needed to get to. Emma sighed, here goes nothing.

She casually walked out of the room and closed the door behind her. The closest agent to her noticed and immediately yelled for her to stop. Now the other agents in the hall were looking around curiously.

Emma ran up to the agent who had called out and began her hand-to-hand combat. In a matter of seconds, the man was passed out on the floor. The other agent started running toward her. Although they were trained Shield agents, she was a Hydra champion.

They were no match for her.

After a few minutes, Emma stood up and straightened herself out. There were about six agents knocked out on the ground. At least she thought they were knocked out, a few may be dead but whatever.

She found her way to the elevator but didn't go in. Luckily for her, there was an emergency staircase so she took that instead. Emma ran down a few flights of stairs but stopped when she found a map of the building.

She suddenly had an idea.

She was never going to get another opportunity like this.

She was in the Avengers tower, the Avengers weren't here.

She may as well snoop a little before she leaves, who knows what secrets she'll discover that Hydra could use against them.
