Flashback to when Zain and Zamin find out the truth about Adeel when he had spread those rumors about Zain and Zoya's affair [chapter 45- Traiter who]

"How the hell is this possible?? I can't believe it, Adeel can't be the one!!!"

Zamin exclaimed in shock and disbelief as Ireteza, the IT hacker of their company displayed the screenshots of Adeel's chat with Armaan where he had shared the company's important documents and other ongoing projects information. When Zain tasked Ireteza to hack every employee's phone to uncover the person responsible for spreading rumors about their affair in the employees' group, he stumbled upon those chats on Adeel's phone. Actually they wanted to uncover the identity of that person but along with that, Adeel's secret was also revealed to them.

Zain was unable to react momentarily, equally shocked by the revelation as he contemplate everything. The person, the traitor he had been searching for the past few months, was right in front of him the whole time, right from his family. What more surprised him how skillfully Adeel had been deceiving them, he didn’t let them catch even the slightest hint of it. It was too hard and unbelievable to digest.

They couldn't communicate further because Zoya returned from the spacious room in the cabin after freshening up. She observed the air was tense between the men and something was off. Zain gestured to Zamin not to reveal anything to Zoya for he doesn't want her to freak out and he nodded in acknowledgement. Before she could inquire anything, Zain guided her out, dropping her to home.

"Arham, call Asher here!!!" Next day Zain commanded his PA and within a few minutes that man was standing in front of him fearing for his life as Zain glared at him with a murderous gaze, piercing through his soul.

The man flinched and shivered as Zain grabbed him from his collar, growling, "Who instructed you to spread that rubbish about me and my wife huh???" 

"I-I swear..sir..I..di-dn't!!!!" His voice shivering with fear, sweat trickling down his forehead.

"Shutup!!! Don't you dare lie to me if you wanna go back alive on your feet." Zain roared this time, punching him on his face until he was satisfied.

Asher regains his composure right away, knowing he can't act up in front of his boss any longer when he already found the truth, "Ad..Adeel!!! He told me to write those rumors in an employee group that would spark interest among everyone by bribing me with money I needed for my son's treatment. I'm really sorry sir I was helpless. Please forgive me." He cried, joining his hands.

"What else did he instruct you to do??" This time Zamin inquired, suppressing his anger.

"Only this sir." Asher answered.

"Are you stupid Asher?? Why the hell would you obey him just like that?? If you needed money for your son, you could've asked from us directly. Didn't you know all the blame would automatically come on you??" Zamin reprimanded him and Asher just hung his head down in shame and remorse, having nothing to say in his defense. He knew he did wrong.

Zain moved close to him, his face just a few inches away from his as he grasped his jaw firmly, boring into his eyes with a dead serious gaze, "If you don't want me to burn your family alive right in front of you, then you'll do what I say. You're not gonna tell Adeel that you told us the truth. If he asks about it, you will tell him that I fired you because of this rumor thing, am I clear???"

Asher's eyes widened in horror at his threat and he immediately nodded his head, knowing better than to go against him.

"Now get lost!!!" He fled away with the very change he got, holding onto his dear life.

Zamin was ready to confront Adeel but Zain refrained him from doing so because they hadn't found the real reason why he had been doing all that. They needed to handle the matter with care, if not their family would face the consequences. Everyone would feel resentment towards one another and Zain didn't want that just because of Adeel's shitty actions. He swears if Adeel hadn't been someone he knew personally, he would have taken his life with his own hands for betraying them.
