"So, --"

"Tara."

"So, Tara, what brings you here?" He asked. Little brown curls fell in front of his eye, which he swiftly moved to the side.

"An adventurous spirit, hopes of abandoning all responsibilities back home, and a caffeine induced decision at 4AM in the morning." I replied, never breaking eye contact. I'm pretty sure we were both a little tipsy at this point from the cocktails.

"Well, is London everything you dreamed it would be?" He took a sip from the drink he was holding.

"It's only my first night, so I guess I can't really comment on that yet. But I will say that I am quite impressed so far." He smirked.

"You're welcome."

"Did I say Thank you?" I gave him a confused look.

"No, but I'm about to make your time here the best time of your life." Maybe he was a little bit more than tipsy at this point.

"But I barely know you." I stated. "We met only an hour ago."

"True. But what type of adventurous spirit doesn't like a little mystery?" He countered.

"A realistic one that was taught 'stranger danger.' as a child."

"Well, from the way I see it, you've got nothing to lose. Worst case scenario: we never talk again after you leave in what,
10 days?"

"14 days." I corrected.

"Alright, 14 day. Best case scenario: you have the most memorable experience and we both get a new friend." I laughed and shook my head. I felt my phone buzz four times: my queue that it was time to leave.

"I'm going to have to pass , um--."

"Harry."

"Thanks for the offer, Harry. But maybe next time." I shrugged and grabbed my clutch from the table. "I got to go. It was nice talking to you and thanks for the drink." I slipped down from the high chair and started walking towards the door.

"Wait, if you're still interested once we're both sober," he chuckled. "come find me." He held out a folded napkin that I quickly took and stuffed in my clutch. "And for the record, I'm glad you made your caffeine induced decision to come here." I smiled and continued to make my way through the crowd towards the door, leading out to the cool London air.
