02| Trouble Arising
Josie watched as the rest of the students began to file in, most of them were boys, but she noticed two more girls who were linked together take their seats not too far from her and Annick. One of them was a redhead, though it was more strawberry blonde if anything, and the other had short dark hair.
The door swung open once more, with a few roudy boys pushing their way through it, there were three of them, one with light curly hair, one who was tall with an eyepatch covering one of his eyes, which made him slightly intimidating, and the other...
The other... was the boy Josephine had run into this morning, his looks still charming as before, as he ran a hand through his clean slicked hair, his eyes flickered towards her, as he and his friends took notice of the new addition. One of his friends nudged him, whispering something that made the other two laugh. He shook his head, following the two boys to their seats in the back of the room, but none of their eyes left Josephine.
Josephine shuddered under their striking stares, and faced the front
of the room again, eager to hide from them as soon as possible."Hey!" A voice called out, "you, with the tan sweater."
Josie looked down at her dress, she was wearing a tan sweater. Josie frowned, turning slightly into her seat, the boys from before were staring at her, but one of them was leaning closer than the rest, his elbows pressed against his desk. It was the boy from earlier that day.
"Yes?"
"We meet again," he smirked, "Dont you think this is a sigh we're meant to be?"
Josie raised her eyebrows at him, before turning back in her seat. She didnt want to make a name for herself on her first day— her mother had constantly told her that if she talked to boys too much, she would be percieved as easy, or improper and nobody would want to marry her later on.
"Wait, dont turn around."
His friends snickered at him, "Nice one there, I think you really woo'd her."
"Real funny, Descamps." He shoved him, making Descamps chair screech against the ground as he was forced to stable himself.
Mrs Giroud turned, giving them a suspicious look, but upon relizing she wouldnt find anything wrong she turned back to the board.
Josephine was the first one out of the classroom when the bell rang, between Giroud's constant droning, and the boys that had tried talking to her, she was eager to leave as soon as possible. Of course, soon another pair had tried to strike up a conversation, but this time it was wanted. The pair of girls, rushed after her.
"Hey, wait up!" One of them shouted, quickening their steps to chase after her. Josephine sent them a smile, slowing down so they could catch up. "Sorry to hold you— we just wanted to know if you wanted to eat lunch with us?"
"Really?" Both the girls nodded eagerly, "Yeah, I'd love to."
"Great." The strawberry blonde cheered, "Im Michele, and this is Simone."
"Im Josephine."
"That is such a preety name." Simone awed, looping her arm between both the girls, "I wish my parents thought of that."
