At first Josie had been exited for the soccer game, she had been thinking of it for the whole school day, althought that was before it had started to rain, and Josie's mood had suddenly become dour, her exitement vanishing as she looked towards the field with a frown.

"Lounge! lounge! lounge! Lounge!" The students had begun to chant, umbrella's shadowing above their heads, as rain dripped over them.

The student players had already began warming up, though some of them had also taken up a side chant of talking up the crowd.

"Hey Pierre!" Called out one of the senior boys, "You reckon if I win this, I could get that date with your sister?"

Jacques rolled his eyes with a scowl, "As if."

He laughed, sending Josephine a charming wave, as she walked past.

"What was that about?" She asked, trying to ignore the presence of Jean- Pierre from beside Jacques.

"Nothing." Jacques shrugged her off. Josie huffed, crossing her arms as she made her way over to her grade. The three boys who always seemed together stood off to the side, hands stuffed into their pockets, as they continued to tease eachother. Michele and Simone sat with the other girls, though they left her a spot that was on the edge of the row.

Michele and simone waved her over, smiles on their faces.

"Good evening." She greeted, sinking into the seat.

"Good evening, Josephine. How has your day been?"

"Quite good actually, though I wish it wasnt raining." She squinted at the sky, "kinda ruins the mood."

"Well Pierre, if you keep your eyes really focused on me— I mean like intesnly focused. You might not even notice its raining." Dupin suggested, leaning down from beside her.

"Im not sure thats how it works, Dupin." She gave him a taunting smile, "but thank you for that very smart suggestion."

Dupin rolled his eyes at her, though he seemed happy that she was even talking to him in the first place, "I think I should have just left you and those lousy books on the streets the other day, would've done me some good."

"No it wouldnt have." Descamps shook him, with a mimciking tone "oh descamps, I missed my chance, what do I do! Please help me with all your clever girl knowledge!"

Dupin wacked Descamps in his stomache, making him bend over with a grunt, "Not what would have happend— not that you even have any girl knowledge to begin with."

"Nah, the girls love me."

"Do they?" Asked Josephine with a raised eyebrow.

"You know Pierre, I think your better with your mouth shut." Descamps motioned to his lips being sealed, "let me focus on the game."

"You dont even like soccer." Vergoux squinted.

Josephine didnt undertand soccer, no matter how much she tried to follow the game, she just didnt get it, though she supposed nobody else did either, and they were just cheering when they thought was right.

"Hey, Josephine." Smirked Simone, nudging her. "Who's that cute boy in the red shirt?"

Josephine frowned, her eyes following towards where Simone was looking at, A tall boy with dark curly hair ran around the field, his shirt hung tightly around his skin, due to the rain soaking it, which only made his muscles seemed more defined. Josephine also regonized him as the guy who was calling out to her brother before the match had even started.

Josephine shrugged, "Not sure, a friend of my brother. I suppose."

"Well hes been staring at you the whole game!" Simone and Michele giggled, ignroing the scoffs they earned from the boys beside them.

The boy, as if he had sensed the girls talking about him looked over, flashing them a smile, suddenly he pointed at Josephine, as the crowd cheered at the goal he had scored, "for you." He mouthed, making Josephine blush. She could feel her cheeks heat up as she felt, Jean's harsh stare at her.

"You dont actually think hes cute, do you?" Dupin's eyebrows knitted together as he leaned down so Josephine could hear him.

Josephine sent him a curiouse look, "I hardly know him."

"Well he seems to know you."

The senior did know Josephine, and it was blatently obviouse that he had taken a liking to her as he ran over to her and they're group as soon as the game was over.

"Sebastion Delacour." He introduced himself, the soccer ball tucked between his arm, and the other outstretched towards Josephine.

Josephine tried her best to ignore the loud scoffs from the boy's as they stared at the pair, but her eyes still flickered over for a quick moment, "Josephine."

"I know." He smiled, "Im friends with your brother— are you free this weekend?"

"What?" Josephine's eyes widened, the question coming as a suprise, "yes?"

"No shes not." Dupin quickly interjected, earning a scolding look from the girls.

"Shut up Dupin!" Simone wacked him on the shoulder.

"Great, theres this cafe that the seniors hang out at. Would you maybe want to join me?" Josephine shyly nodded, and Sebastion took that as the only answer he needed.

As soon as he was far enough that he couldnt hear them, Dupin gave her a deadpan look.

"Really? Your going out with Delacour?"

"Yes, do you have a problem with that?" Josephine raised an eyebrow, glancing over Dupin shoulder to see her friends already starting to leave.

Dupin took a step forward, "and if I do?"

Josephine gaped, "huh?"

"If I do have a problem with it? What would you say." He took another step, his hand shoved in his pockets, a ciggarette between his lips that made his voice a little muffled.

"I'd say this." She grabbed the ciggarette from his lips, "is bad for you— and that you should keep your nose out of other people busnisses."

Dupin chuckled, watching as she crushed the ciggerette in the grass, "whatever Pierre, do what you want."

At first Josephine was startled by the name change, but she supposed it was the same thing as her calling Dupin, Dupin. And he was only returning the favor, but for some reason, Josephines heart panged at the thought of Dupin thinking of her coldly, and she almost wanted to take back any of the times she had called him Dupin if thats how it made him feel. Though Dupin didnt give her much of a chance to talk to him and further, becuase as soon as the cigarrette was finished being crushed he turned on his heels, and headed after his friends.
