"alright class, today our essay topic is about your siblings."

aether was spinning his pen before the teacher said it out, almost everyone in the class knew that aether adored his younger twin sister, lumine.

"and the most heartfelt one will be awarded with a year supply of primogems."

everyone in the class flinched, including aether. he knew that he would cook up the most excellent, heartfelt, emotional essay about lumine. the teacher also added that this will be the only homework they had that day. aether rushed to the train station back home, sometimes accidentally dropping his public transport card on the train.

"good afternoon customers, your next service to people of the springs via the desert loop on platform 2 will be in 5 minutes. thank you."

he waited for the train while looking at the map, he was in court of fontaine and let's see... aha! yes, platform 2. he arrived at the platform, seagulls flying everywhere.

the train arrived!

"this is a service to people of the springs, stopping all stations."
"now arriving at poisson."
"now arriving at romaritime harbor, change here for petrichor or lumidouce harbor services."
"now arriving at vourukasha oasis"

...

"... now arriving at sea of flowers, change here for chenyu vale or akademiya services"

he hopped off the train, and got out of the sea of flowers station. from his home to the station is a 5 minute walk, he quickly got home and put his backpack in his room. seeking for lumine, he found a note saying: 

"i'm going out with the fontaine girls in café lucine, they're paying for me today!"

aether sighed, finally she got friends... he was beyond happy though, navia was one of the nicest person he knew. he got on the shower for a quick 10 minutes then began writing the essay.

"growing up with a sibling can either result in a traumatic way or a wholesome way. i'm not here to brag but lumine and i are well-known because how clingy she is around me. even at home, she would ask for head pats. lumine is a great little sister. oh, one time when we were four, she accidentally tripped and got a massive cut. i have to asked everyone in the town how to cure her, but it was in the middle of the day. so, i took it in my own hands and rinsed the injury, bandaging her cut sloppily. when everyone in the town got home from work, they scolded me because i haven't make the bandaging tight enough yet. as clumsy as she is, she's a great cook and there were times she made an entire lantern rite celebration 4-course meal by herself! this is probably a side effect of growing up together, but she knew all of the things i like, i can't even lie because she knows me too well. wanderer kept snickering me about how his older sister, raiden, sometimes compared me to him. as she should. 

well let's stop and i'll go to the more nice and wholesome details. every christmas, me and lumine would go on a shopping spree, five thousand moras for each of us to buy gifts for each other. after we got a part-time job, with me working at adventure's guild and lumine working at chioriya's boutique, we increased the money to ten thousand moras each person. she'd always buy ingridients to cook a meal or fabrics and make something handmade, sometimes both. i'm not that great at making gifts so i always bought plushies, cute stuff or figurines for her. she kept all of the figures and plushies in her room. i recalled the most expensive figure i bought for her is a figure of a girl standing on inteyvat flowers, which she absolutely adore. she also made a pair of plushies of me and her, she kept the plushie of me, while i kept the plushie of her. sometimes i brought it to school and the boys who have a crush on lumine, would willingly give me fifty thousand moras for it. of course, i rejected, the plushie meant a lot to me. i have tried making little lanterns for lantern rite, mondstadt flowers for windblume, red caps for christmas, witch hat for halloween for plushie lumine to wear. most of them turned out okay, and lumine always beamed whenever i gave it an accessory.

conclusion: i don't have anything to say, i love lumine a lot as a sister and i hope i can stop being overprotective over some of my friends flirting with her."

he finished it in 45 minutes, impressive indeed. he could feel his knuckles screaming over how overworked were they. suddenly, he heard a little knock from the door, probably lumine. he opened the door, seeing lumine all giddy and happy. she began rambling about her café experience and how nice the seniors were. aether smiled slightly at her expression, relieved that she came back home safe.

"oh and today, i have to write an essay about you."
"whaaaaaaat? really? let me see!"
"alright, alright."



the next day, at court of fontaine high school narwhale campus.

"and the winner is aether! you'll be getting a year supply of primogems!"
