those bitter words spilled out of lumine's lips. her eyes seems more cold and harsh, like belittling aether. her sword shining with determination, ready to fight aether at any time.
aether's face looks like it was in distraught, he can't believe what he is listening to right now. his dear twin sister, the one that he worked so hard for... hates him? the blonde-hair boy with wide-eyes, his voice on the edge of cracking. he reached for his blade with hesitation.
cling clang, their sword met, clashing with each other. the sound of metal clashing together, occasional grunts and fierce eyes filled the place. aether looks like he didn't even want to do it, his movement slower than normal. while lumine is still emotionless, her hard gaze lingering on aether. losing control, aether blocked the golden blade with his gloves, nearly ripping it off.
"lumine... please."
"stop being childish, dear brother."
her sword is now dangling side-by-side aether's neck. he gulped, his heart aching in pain. seeing the sweet, energetic lumine suddenly being cold... it makes him feel uneasy. he choked on air, and lumine cut slightly through his neck, a cut visible on the sensitive skin. aether gasped, looking at lumine's golden eyes.
his lashes are getting wet, tears streaming down his face slowly. lumine picked up at this, she knew that what she was doing is wrong, but this is for the best.
"i hate you, get off."
