this christmas, they decided to stay home together. all cozy and warm in home, the snow outside... well, aether will consider if he would build a snowman with lumine or not, since she was practically begging for it.
gifts underneath the christmas trees, they decided to unpack them.
lumine's gifts are: some keychains from amber, biscuits from furina, tea from wriothesley, macarons from navia, a handmade dress from chiori, ruin guard plushies from childe, a duck handbag from barbara, books from lisa, stew (which was somehow still piping hot) from xiangling, national's specialty from each archon, figures from both kachina and mualani, bathbombs from albedo and etc.
aether's gifts are: a handmade suit from chiori, macarons from navia, a shark plushie from wriothesley, maple leaf syrup from kazuha, inazuma masks from ayaka, some custom hair ties from mualani, another stew from xiangling, a gold bandana from ningguang, some stationaries from lisa, game cards from kinich, tea from furina, national's specialty from each archon and lots of other stuff were given to aether.
they unwrapped with smiles and surprised on their face, they were clearly very shocked yet also appreciating the gifts. they tried every food, which made them full.
"welp... guess we can't drink any hot chocolate now..." - said lumine, too full from the amount of stuff she was consuming.
"yeah, but hey! at least the food were delicious..." - aether chimed in, trying to lighten up the situation.
"but i've been making the hot chocolate bombs since the 2nd of december!" - the sister huffed annoyingly, they couldn't drink or eat anything, otherwise they will feel awfully sick.
it was all because of good ol' aether suggested an eating competition, to see who could eat the most food. they rushed to eat them all, while they can still tasted the delicious aromas and great flavors, they couldn't eat anything else.
"alright, it's my fault, i know... what if i make it up to you by playing in the snow?" - said aether.
lumine's golden eyes sparkled up with excitement. she nodded vigorously, putting on her puffy jacket, and earmuffs. while the other twin wore a bunch of scarfs and a silly beanie from wanderer.
they went outside, the chilling air clashing against their faces. lumine shivered, even though her body was warm, her face wasn't. aether noticed this and gently hugged lumine, pressing her face against his neck.
lumine was caught off guard, but smiled slightly. her face was a rosy tint because of the coldness, aether had a scarf so his face was more "protected".
after whining for aether to pull her away, due to aether being constantly worried that lumine wasn't warmed up enough. they began to build a small snowman, they rolled the snow, picked up pebbles from places that weren't covered in thick snow.
it was a wonderful day, and they both wished that it would last forever.
the moon above listened to their wish and tried to come out slower, signing it's late.
