“Love is an act of endless forgiveness, a tender look which becomes a habit.” – Peter UstinovAvion
I was upstairs with Allister, his club was closed but neither of us had been ready to go home so we came upstairs to his office to talk, smoke and play the game. We were currently playing Rocket League.
“ I wouldn’t worry, I’m sure she will see you hadn’t meant to insult her character” Allister assured him his eyes locked on the screen. He had told him of his and Honey’s encounter earlier before she had left.
“I jumped the gun” he said shaking his head “I honestly lashed out when I saw that man arrive for her” he had felt jealousy he had never felt this way over a women and he barely knew her and already she had a hold on him, but even though he barely knew her she definitely hadn’t given him the impression she was the kind of women to fool around or cheat, and her reaction definitely confirmed that fact and that honestly turned him on even more it was rare to find loyal people these days.
“Trust me it’s all going to work out” Allister assured me. He paused the game and pulled his phone out his pocket. His eyes widened slightly, and then he grinned and turned to face me.
“What’s going on?” I asked, Allister held his phone up for me to see, I couldn’t believe it. Honey had texted him asking for my phone number.
“Send it to her” I urged him, pulling my own phone out in anticipation of what she would say to me, I honestly hadn’t expected this.
“Done” Allister assured him before he put his phone away and picked the controller back up. I felt a little crazy staring at my phone as I waited to see if and what she would say, when my phone beeped and an unknown number popped up I almost dropped it in my excitement to see if it was her. I clicked the message and read it, then read it again, and one more time just to make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. She had apologized and wanted to know if he wanted to come over and watch a movie? This night had been a roller coaster that was for sure and it was no fucking way he would pass up a chance to spend alone time with her.
“Hey I have to go” he told Allister as he quickly got up his friend gave him a salute as he headed out the door.
“Be safe” Allister called after him “Tell Honey I said hi” I practically flew down the stairs and out the front door to my car, getting in I put in the address she had sent me in my GPS before I pulled off I couldn’t keep the grin off my face knowing I would be seeing Honey soon.
