He was a complete stranger and the last thing I needed was to get wrapped in some man and take my focus off my business or myself I had worked hard to get where I was and this man was looking at me as if he already owned me the thought made me frown but I quickly forced a smile and waved back at Allister.

“Good evening” I said once I approached him smiling he stood and pulled a chair out for right next to the man I needed to avoid who grinned as I sat beside him.
“Good evening” they both said in unison they met gazes and broke out in laughter. For some reason, it made me smile they gave off a very brotherly vibe that made me feel slightly more relaxed
“Would you like a drink? “Allister waved the bartender over she finished serving someone and quickly came over.
“Yes I’ll have a glass of Barolo please” I told her she nodded and went to get my drink
“Excellent choice” The stranger said to me “that wine is known for its full bodied flavor and complexity” he purred in my ear making me blush and squirm when she returned with my drink I quickly took if and took a very unladylike gulp and turning away from him he made my skin tingle as a wave of warmth washed over me, emanating from him I felt his heat radiating off him, a subtle yet intense sensation that sent a shiver down my spine. It was as if his body was a furnace, and I  was caught in its radiant glow.
“Honey this is my friend Avion” Allister intruded him to me good now. I could stop thinking of him as the stranger that was an interesting name choice.
“Your parents named you plane,” I asked, turning to face him, my curiosity getting the better of me “Was there a reason why?” he seemed surprised. I even asked him this question he stroked the hair on his chin.
“Si, my mother gave birth to me on a plane and liked how my name sounded in Spanish” I couldn’t help but smile. That was actually a cute story definitely different.
“Ah I see well you name is very nice I like it” I told him and mentally kicked myself when his grin got bigger and a look I couldn’t name flashed in his eyes and was gone just as quick.
“Gracias hermosa”  My heart pounded in my chest as I watched him finish his drink, his eyes never leaving mine The intensity of his gaze was both intoxicating and intimidating, and I couldn’t help but feel a flutter of excitement in my stomach. His gaze held a promise of something more, something unknown, and I found myself drawn to him in a way I couldn’t explain. I was vexed by this feeling, a strange combination of thrill and trepidation that I had never experienced before. Keeping my gaze  locked with his, a silent challenge in my eyes as I finished my wine, an alluring smirk playing on my lips. I  licked the wine from my full lips, savoring the sweet nectar. His gaze followed the movement, his eyes darkening with desire. A low growl escaped his throat, and I knew I had him completely captivated. It was the exact opposite of what I had told myself to do, but in that moment, it felt right.

“I’m going to go get ready excuse me” getting up I headed to the back behind the stage I didn’t really need to prepare I just needed to get away from Avion once I was safely away and by myself I leaned back against the wall and closed my eyes. I  needed a moment alone to calm my  racing heart and collect my thoughts before I  went on stage to perform. The intensity of the moment had left me  breathless, and I needed to regain my composure before facing the audience and Avion as well.
