On the other side of Yuta, the Land of Humans, the headquarters of the authority force Rhyd Officialdom had received a report.
"In Leaga City, a huge explosion occurred in Evamile College. We are sending officers in the area to investigate," one of the officers reported while standing in front of an office table.
Sitting in front of him was the leader of the Rhyd Officialdom, Commander Harper. "Evamile College?" He asked, curious about the familiarity of the place. He knew it was the place where the dangerous trio, the Barbaric Ternary, was currently studying.
"Listen," Commander Harper said. "All the officers that you've sent, tell them to be prepared. I think it's just a coincidence and I hope the trio is not involved in this. Beware of the Barbaric Ternary. If the officers happen to see them, tell them to not engage. Report it to me first," he ordered.
"Yes, sir!" The officer responded as he left the room.
Commander Harper put his hands on the table, clenching it towards each other. "I hope I'm wrong," he pleaded as he hoped that the trio was not involved in this incident.
But little did he know, it was too late.
While the Officialdom was preparing to launch an investigation, the Evamile College was nowhere to be called as a school again as it was destroyed. The Barbaric Ternary, which Rhyd Officialdom saw as a threat to national security, was involved all along. To make matters worse, a foreigner was also involved. This involvement could develop a huge problem between Paradis, the Land of Gods, and Yuta, the Land of Humans. And it became more distressing as there was a casualty, Kayce Vasquez, as a result of this misunderstanding, specifically between Cam and Alma.
Standing firm, compressed with the same interest, the trio was fixated to the woman in front of them. Alma had no reason to fight back, unless her life was in danger. This moment of time, difficult to discern, was a tough situation for her. Three people were planning to kill her and they were standing in front of her, waiting for a chance.
"What should I do?" She asked herself. "This is not good for me. I don't want to fight them. This is not the only way to resolve this conflict," she said.
She was surrounded by a place of terror and destruction. All rubbles, burning to crisp, barely seeing an educational structure instead a sight of fear. This scene played out differently in Cam's red glowing eyes. This mirrored his past traumatic experience. A kid watching a burning house in front, surrounded by a lot of dead bodies in a snowy location while holding his dying mother in his arms. All he saw was the reflection of his excruciating pain that he bore from his childhood to this present time.
"Give up, bitch." Cam declared, speaking like he was ordering Alma to follow what he said.
At the same time, Dylan with a running stance, boosted a deal of preparation. With a sparkling sound coming from the black handheld knife clenching on his right hand, he launched himself towards Alma in an instant. Running like the wind, Dylan was sprinting with an intention of plunging the knife into Alma's heart. Never thinking his way properly, he leaped into action straight for a kill.
So fast that could not be comprehended properly by a mind of a mere being then and there, Alma instinctively retaliated with an inclination of a God.
With the power of Leistung, the divine magical power of Gods, Alma of Stad van Semideus summoned lightning.
This natural phenomena traveled in the blink of an eye that stopped Dylan's glittering black knife thrusting towards her heart with just a split second before contact. The lightning split her from Dylan, directly hitting the knife that created a shockwave throwing themselves away from each other.
