Over the week, Choso seemed to be more considerate of y/n's comfort, especially regarding his smoking. Spending more time together, they shared meals and moments, slowly building a new rhythm in their dynamic. Choso's subtle efforts to accommodate y/n by smoking only in specific places showed a softer side to him, even if his feelings and past actions still left some questions between them.As Choso watched y/n speaking with her tutor, his gaze darkened. Every small gesture, the tutor leaning in slightly, laughing at something she said, set off alarms in his mind. His possessiveness had grown stronger, and the more time he spent watching her, the more irrational his thoughts became. He was starting to interpret harmless actions as signs of something more, and he hated it. The idea of anyone else showing interest in y/n triggered a wave of jealousy that gnawed at him.
The distance between him and his friends felt like nothing compared to the urgency he felt in always being close to her. He didn't even care about the world outside of her anymore, his focus was entirely on y/n, and this situation was just another reminder of how far he was willing to go to keep her close.
One day after class, y/n stayed behind to talk with her tutor about an upcoming project. Choso, standing a few yards away, leaned against a wall, his dark purple eyes fixed on her. It had become a routine for him, keeping a constant, watchful eye on her, whether she realized it or not. Every day, he found himself growing more possessive, unable to let her out of his sight for long. Even when they weren't together, he made sure he was never far, lurking nearby to keep an eye on her interactions with others.
She was laughing, her shoulders relaxed, completely unaware of the intensity of his gaze. As she spoke to her tutor, her natural charm and warmth shone through, and that made Choso feel something dark stir inside him.
The tutor leaned in slightly, pointing to a page in the notebook y/n was holding. His hand grazed the edge of the desk as he stood closer to her. From where Choso stood, the movements felt too casual, too comfortable. Was he flirting? The thought ignited a wave of jealousy deep inside him. His jaw tightened as his eyes narrowed, following the subtle gestures, the tutor's laugh, the slight tilt of his head, the ease in which they spoke. Choso's hands clenched into fists.
Why was she smiling at him like that? He watched every shift in their conversation, trying to interpret y/n's body language and every movement of the tutor's hands. The more he watched, the more irrational thoughts began to fill his head. He couldn't shake the idea that someone else might try to take her away from him. His grip tightened on the strap of his bag as he contemplated whether he should intervene or wait.
A knot of anger formed in his chest. He had started avoiding his friends lately because of this, always wanting to be close to her, even if it meant pushing others away. The fear of losing her was gnawing at him, even though he knew it wasn't rational. She was here with him, but the idea of someone else getting too close made his possessiveness flare up.
As the tutor's hand shifted once again, brushing too close to her arm, Choso's eyes darkened with jealousy. He took a step forward, unable to stay back any longer, the need to mark his territory consuming him.
Before Choso could take another step closer to y/n and her tutor, Yuki approached him, cigarette in hand. She noticed the tension radiating from him and the way his gaze fixated on y/n. Yuki had been on high alert ever since she saw the way Choso's demeanor changed whenever y/n was around. It was a familiar pattern for him; he had always been possessive when he cared for someone deeply, and she knew he needed to keep that in check.
"Hey, Romeo, I see you've got your eyes on y/n again," she teased lightly, though the underlying seriousness in her tone was clear.Choso huffed, turning to face her but keeping his eyes on y/n. "She's too close to him. It's not right."
Yuki raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "What's not right? She's just talking to her tutor. You know that. You can't keep isolating yourself from your friends just to keep an eye on her."
