the server was quick with our food , before we knew it she was standing in front of our booth with nicholas burger and milkshake and my fries and coffee which now thinking about was definitely not a great combo together.
" here's your burger and fries with your milkshake sir " she said laying nicholas food in front of him , as he smiled at her
" thank you very much " he said as she smiled back at him before looking over at me with the most fakest smile ever
" and your fries and coffee miss " she said laying it in front of me
" thank you " i said smiling as she just gave me a nod and walked away .
" isn't it funny how she thought we were a couple but was checking me out in front of you "nicholas said taking a bite out of his frie making me chuckle
" i now know how your partner feels " i said chuckling as he smiled at me
" funny you say that because im very much single " he said causing me to feel a knot in my stomach . how was it possible that he was single..
" what " i said surprised
" that im single " he said before taking a sip of his milkshake.
" with all due respect professor chavez " i said causing him to put his milkshake down
" you're very um good looking to be single " i said , feeling the knot in stomach grew ten times bigger. he than chuckled
" thank you cindy , but what do looks matter if you can't find someone who loves you for you " he said with a smile and his chestnut brown eyes on me .
" i guess your right about that " i said looking down at my coffee and fries . if only he knew how i felt..
" um do you mind me asking , what do you look into a person " i said looking up at him as he bites into his frie and titling his head
" just someone unique and special " he said
" nice " i said before taking a bite out of my frie
" and you "
" are you single " he asked
"yes " i quickly answered making him chuckled
" how come " he asked before taking a bite from his burger which he looked good doing ..
" i haven't met the right guy i guess " i said as he chuckled while he chewed
"i bet you have a lot of guys hit on you " he said while he grabbed a napkin to clean his mouth
" uhh i wouldn't say so " i said as he chuckled
" well it's probably because you intimidate them " he said smiling as i chuckled
" maybe " i said before taking a sip of my coffee. the rest we talked getting to know one another. our favorite color, favorite movie, favorite food and all other things . it was 3:30 once we finished eating
" we should get going since we both have class tomorrow " he said as i chuckled and nod , as he got up from the booth . while i got up as well , exiting the burger place and getting into the car . the tension was strong as we sat there in silence. i could feel my back shiver as i look over at nicholas driving . his fluffy light drown hair slightly over his brown chestnut eyes . his beautiful tan , and must i mention the muscles.. the knot in my stomach grew as i even though about what i wanted to do . would he kiss back? reject me ? i than notice us pulling up at the dorms as i felt my stomach all over the place
my breathing getting pretty heavy as i decided i was going to do it. it was now or never
" well here we are " nicholas said looking over at me as i felt my heart beat suddenly so fast , before i knew it my lips had meet his lips . the instant electric i felt within me having his lips on me . apart of me glad that he hadn't pulled back and another telling me that this was wrong but i couldn't help myself. i then feel his hand on my low back pushing me closer to him. his lips were warm and soft , the kiss was so simple but yet so passionate . the spark that i felt was indescribable and nothing compared to what i've felt before .out of nowhere his lips pull away as i opened my eyes realizing what i had just done .
