"Which one should I wear?" Maddie held up two dresses to her chest. One was a red mini dress with a plunging front showing off her cleavage and the other was a cobalt blue with a slit all the way up the side tied together by silver chains.

"The blue," I told her. The blue brought out the blue tones in her dark skin. "I feel underdressed."

It was true. I was wearing a black mini dress that plunged a little at the front but wasn't too revealing. If everyone else was going to be dressed like Maddie then maybe I should wear something else.

"Wear the red." Maddie said, throwing the scrap of fabric towards me, "and some red lipstick as well. It'll tie the whole look together."

"I don't have the tits for the red."

My small little grapes wouldn't suit the deep plunge in the dress. That was designed for women with cleavage with something to actually show off.

"Just try it on!" Maddie squealed, pouring two shots of tequila. "We need to leave for the train soon so hurry!"

We were in my flat. My mum was out for dinner with some friends (I wouldn't be surprised to see her end up at Club7 as well) so we had the flat to ourselves. When I found out I had been tempted to invite Damon over but I was intrigued by his promise about seeing me. It was impossible to scent me out in a busy club that had seven floors.

He was clearly just bluffing.

Sighing I walked out into the bathroom to strip out of my black dress and into Maddie's red dress. It actually looked good. The cut out in the middle was tight to my chest which gave the impression that I had more cleavage than in reality. The length was the same as the black dress showing off my toned and freshly fake tanned legs.

The only problem was the neckline showed off the hickies that Damon had given me. They were now a shade of pinky red but they had been purple. When I noticed them I was furious, sending him an angry message accompanied by a photograph. His response dimmed my fury however, igniting a different feeling within me.

Damon: I'll make it up to you.

I had reread his text over and over again wondering what he meant. We hadn't kissed since his car although whenever we passed each other in the hallway he grazed my hand with his; a silent reminder of what happened.

I couldn't wait to see how he was going to make it up to me.

With a little bit of concealer the hickies weren't noticeable. Turning in the mirror one more time I made sure everything looked good, frowning when I remembered how the dress looked on Maddie. She rocked it, but she rocked everything.

"You look amazing!" She squealed after knocking back another shot. "Here wear these," She thrust a pair of platform red heels into my arms. "This'll help your 5'3' self be able to see anything."

Begrudgingly I shoved my feet into the heels. It's only for one night. I reminded myself as I looked again in the mirror. I looked good. My blonde hair was curled and tied up into a ponytail so it was out of my face and you could see everything. There was no hiding behind my long locks tonight.

For the first time in forever, confidence filled me at the sight of my reflection.

Maddie looked beautiful in the blue dress. Her dark hair was straightened and fell down to her butt. A crystal choker adorned her neck which glistened in the light whenever she turned similar to her silver platform heels.
