(Dr. Voss's Office, Late Evening)
Dr. Voss leaned back in her chair, eyes fixed on Skylar's file. Her defiance earlier that day still lingered in her mind.
"Elysia," she called, her voice measured.
Elysia entered, cautious. "Yes, Dr. Voss?"
"Skylar's behavior concerns me," Dr. Voss said. "She's beginning to question our motives."
Elysia nodded. "She's struggling with her identity, Dr. Voss. The Creastcaller legacy weighs heavily on her."
Dr. Voss's gaze narrowed. "Perhaps it's time to reframe her perspective. Show her the good we're doing here."
Elysia's eyes sparkled with understanding. "You want to remind her of the lives she can save."
Dr. Voss nodded. "Exactly. Prepare the lab for blood tests and theoretical simulations. Let's demonstrate how Skylar's powers can benefit humanity."
Elysia smiled. "I'll arrange it, Dr. Voss."
Dr. Voss's thoughts turned to Skylar. She needed to see the bigger picture, to understand that her powers weren't a curse, but a gift.
"Elysia?" Dr. Voss called as she turned to leave.
"Yes?"
"Make sure Skylar sees the data. Show her the potential for good. Maybe then she'll begin to question whether Creastcaller's methods are truly heroic."
Elysia's expression hinted at curiosity. "You think Creastcaller's motives are questionable?"
Dr. Voss leaned forward, her voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "I think we've been sold a narrative, Elysia. One that may not be entirely true."
Elysia's eyes widened, her mind racing with implications.
Dr. Voss smiled inwardly. The seeds of doubt were planted.
