Sun still smiling in eternal dissapointments, the heat burns to the ground as if marking this place as a hell on Earth. The atmosphere were somber, the winds drifts slowly among the deserts. The two souls of the damned, Ernesto and Tennant, on their way to bury Hevan body. When they finally reach said location, among the grass was another gravestone.
"This...is Eleanor's grave." Ernesto put down, his equipments to the ground, "Im already prepared another grave."
On the left of Eleanor's grave, a dug out grave has been prepared. Tennant saw the gravestone right next to the hole, it says "Here lies the Vigilante. Heaven or Hell matters not, I lived in hell already."with a revolver right on top of it.
"Mr Winders..." Tennant help Ernesto to bury Hevan's body, "Let me help you."
Ernesto doesn't say a single word, he's just nodding and continue. They manage to put Hevan to the ground, buried his body and put a new gravestone. Ernesto write something in it,
"Hevantaneo, a Brave Cherokeean warrior, a friend, and a great Arcanist."
After that, Ernesto just leave. Tennant immedietly stops him, grab his hand.
"Wait. You have to pray for him."
"Why would I?" Ernesto sounds hopeless, "Im already lost everything and everyone. Does God ever help me?"
"Just...pray. For him."Tennant try to convince him, "I understand how it feels like."
Ernesto then going back to Hevan's grave, both he and Tennant pray for in front of it. The atmosphere suddenly feel peaceful, gone now all the worries and fear. Ernesto looking at Eleanor's grave and put out his pendant.
"This is Eleanor. She always love this place."
Inside the pendant, a photo of Eleanor can be seen. She has a blonde straight hair, wearing a beautiful gown, smiling. Tennant though, aware how eerily similiar their face features are.
Tennant also feel sadness, to see a beautiful woman like her died for nothing.
"She looks...beautiful."
They looking at the horizon, beyond the two graves, lies a mountains and meadow bellow. Tennant take a deep breath to feel the fresh air, finally feeling a little piece of heaven on her hearth.
"What a lovely place." she said, "Away from senseless and meaningless violence..."
"Indeed." Ernesto put the pendant down to Eleanor's gravestone, "Im always came here from time to time. Gaining my sanity, even...if there's time when I wish God took my life instead."
When Ernesto about to break down, Tennant approach him and hold his shoulder,
"I promise, Foundation will be a good home for you. You can rebuild, away from all this painful world."
"But this is my world, my home..." Ernesto sighs and looking at the sky.
"Your wife loves you." Tennant shows Eleanor's message, "She loves you so much, she even send a message to the future for me to save you. This is not the end for you."
"The message...." Ernesto hold the paper, "This is from telegraph?"
"Yes."
"So...I guess it worked." Ernesto give the paper back to Tennant, "Its my friend, Jebediah, he's an Odd scraphead. Making crazy machine with Clockwerks."
"Wait...you're telling me, you know a guy who send those message to us?"
"Yeah..." Ernesto stand up tall, his eyes are no longer sad, "I guess you wish to meet him now, right?"
