16: Disaster

2 days later, it was already planned that everyone would go for a hike as Lia's health was better and her fever was gone.

Soha was the most excited one as the members gathered at the hallway of their resort. Soha had a side bag which looked fat and large as you furrowed your brows.

“Soha..what's in that?” You asked as Soha looked at you and shook her head, “It's nothing unnie, some snacks and water bottle.. and some tools which will help with the hike.” She said as you nod your head.

Jin and Haneul came with Lia sitting on Jin's shoulder, her legs around his neck as everyone chuckled looking at the father daughter duo.

“Appa carry...” Minji whined as Suga laughs and picks her up, as he placed Minji on his shoulder too, “Happy??” he asked as Minji nods.

“So shall we go?” Soha asked as everyone nodded their head, “We will go to Yeongdam Hills” She said as the members nodded as everyone started their hike.

While climbing up the hills, they came across beautiful mountain sight, vast plant species, as you know someone was happy snapping pictures, guess who.

Jungkook was snapping pictures with his limited edition camera, it's an old and antique one, one which was gifted to him by his grandfather on his 10th birthday. He adores the gift afterall.

This camera was gifted to his grandfather by his grandmother on their 5th wedding anniversary and so is an antique which snaps beautiful pictures...vintage ones.

You were following closely behind Jungkook as everyone had gone ahead, Soha being close with you while hiking.

“The map says there's a hotel nearby guys!” Soha yelled so that everyone could hear her as everyone stopped on their tracks, “shall we take a break? We won't get a cafe after that until like the top of the hill.” She said as everyone nods their head.

“Yeah let's go.” They said as they took a sharp V turn and had to carefully go to the other side of the valley, as if their foots slipped then they would end up dead.

Everyone carefully made their way to the restaurant and soon enough all of them reached the place.

“YEONGNAM RESTAURANT.”

It was an empty restaurant as they say together at a large table and had some light meal and drinks. After that they just sat by to vanish their tiredness.

At around like 4 in the evening they resumed their journey as they continued to go up the hill, as you spot a beautiful tree house at the edge.

“Taehyung shi!! Tree house!!” You yelled as Taehyung and You loved tree houses as you two looked at each other.

“Shall we go there?” You asked as he nods as the two of you sneakily went away to go towards the tree house which was at the edge.

You two climbed up the cranky ladder and made it to the tree house as it was cozy and beautiful from inside.

On the other hand:

“It looks like it would rain.” Namjoon said as everyone looked up to see thick black clouds surrounding the area and the fact that they are in a hill didn't help at all.

“Shall we take a shelter in that cave?” Jungkook asked while pointing at one as everyone nods, “Where is Taehyung?!!” Karina asks as everyone noticed his absence, “Yn isn't here either.” Jungkook said in a worry as Soha looks at them, “don't worry.. they went to look at a tree house, let me call them.” she said as she walks away while others nod and make their way towards the cave.

Soon it started to rain heavily with large rain drops pattering on the trees and hill rocks. The members and their family were safe in the cave except Soha, Yn and Taehyung who were nowhere to be found or seen.

Jungkook's and Karina's worry increased each passing second and the fact that they didn't have network was even worse.

Taehyung and Yn were stuck in the treehouse as the thunderstorm continued, “Oppa..what about others? We need to find them.” You said as Taehyung nods as he was also worried about others especially Karina.

Only if they knew that the members and others were safe, they wouldn't have put themselves in danger.

Yn and Taehyung slowly made their way out of the tree house, getting completely drenched and soaked in the rain as Taehyung covered you with his coat.

“Let's find them Yn.” He said as you nod while walking but then you gasp, landslide was happening as you looked at Taehyung, “We need to cross the edge before it falls Yn-ah.” Taehyung said as you nod and he then looks around as he makes you cross the edge first, as soon as you cross the edge the rain intensified, it felt like the cloud broke out and was hitting you with full force.

The winds were heavy and long making it hard to even see what was happening, Taehyung then tried to cross the edge but the landslide slid the edge, he was about to fall but you held his wrist with both your hands as you looked at him.

“O-oppa..h-hold on.” You said as he looks at you, “Yn ah let go off me.. you will be in trouble.” he said as you vigorously shook your head with teary eyes, “I-i won't just please hang on..” you plead as you slipped and then before you could fall, you held onto a creeper, a woody thick one.

“Yn LET GO OFF ME!! YOU WILL DIE!” He yelled as you shook your head while crying, “YOU WILL DIE IF I LET GO OFF YOU OPPA!” You said while looking at him.

Then suddenly Taehyung widened his eyes, looking at something, before you could look up, the creeper snapped making the both of you fall down the hill as Taehyung wrapped his arms around you in a protective brotherly manner..

“Tell Karina i love her..” He said as his back hit a tree log making him go unconscious and then you hit your head to something and both of you lay unconscious at the bottom.
