CHAPTER 2

Kiara's pov

Devi- Anyway I'm going to class. See you at lunch sexies! Oh and you too i guess Abhimanyu.

I laughed it out.
Kia- I'm going to class too.
And she also left.

Abhimanyu- Do you want me to walk you to class? You know since Sidharth's in your class...
Kiara- Don't worry about me! My beauty will be enough to keep him at bay.
Abhimanyu- You never know.

I rolled my eyes.
Abhimanyu- Fine, I'll see you later.
And he plants a kiss on my cheeks.

I was going to my class when a running girl collides into me.
A girl- Watch where you're going!
A boy- Yeah, what if you hurt Kiara?

That girl(arohi)- Sorry, I was in a rush. I'm new here, you see.
Kiara- So does being new mean you can run around like a headless chicken? I'll let you off this time because I'm being nice new girl.

In class-:
To maintain people's respect for me in this school, I had to be cold to those who disrespected  me. I watched a lot of teen high school movies growing up and so once i got to high school, I made sure to be the next HBIC. While I didn't enjoy doing it sometimes, it had become part of my manner now. And being the popular girl in high school was all about keeping up an image, right?

A girl- Hey kiara!
Kiara - Heyy wassup!
Girl- Did you see Sidharth this morning?
Kiara- Uh..... yeah?
Girl- What do you think of him?
Kiara- He's dangerous. I wouldn't want anything to do with him.
Girl- You know what, you've got a point.
Kiara - I always do.

At school canteen-:
I was looking for my friends but saw Sidharth going to the line for food.

Sidharth- Let me through.
Everyone left the line except varun.
Varun- Fuck off you loser.
Sidharth- What did you just say?

Varun and Sidharth always had some beef with each other. They'd gotten into fights before none of which ended well.

Varun- You're just a fucking coward. Who do you think you're scaring?( and he laughed)
Sidharth- you got five seconds to move.
Varun-(teasing) oh im so scared of you. Not! The only thing you are is a crybaby who goes around acting tough. I mean I'm not surprised. You don't have your mom anymore to keep you in check, do you?

And sidharth beats the hell out of varun till he got breathless. And then he looked at me.

The look in Sidharth's eyes sent a chill down my spine. It was a look of pure FURY. His hands were balled into fists and the guy that he had just finished beating up laid on the floor immobile. Whatever he was unconscious or frozen in shock, I didn't know.

Teacher- Sidharth Malhotra! What do you think you're doing? A week's detention for you!

Sidharth rolled his eyes and started going away.
Teacher- Where are you going?! I'm talking to you!

He stopped in front of me. What's going on?! Why is he staring at me again?

And he went away.

Later that day-
Abhimanyu- Babe, are you ok? Are you shaken because of the fight you witnessed?

Shaken is a light word to describe it. It wasn't even a fight it was Sidharth mercilessly beating down someone who stood up to him. Does he just bulldoze everything and everyone in his path? Sidharth Malhotra was ruthless and dangerous. I should keep my distance from him at all costs.

Kiara- Oh me? I'm fine!
Abhimanyu- Are you sure? I know you don't do well with violence—
Kiara- Looks like my driver is here. See you tomorrow, babe.

And i went away.
Arohi- Hey, Abhimanyu...
Abhimanyu- Oh, hey. You're the new girl right?
Arohi- Yeah, that's me. My name is Arohi. I just wanted to thank you for helping me with that Maths problem in class earlier. I'm just horrible at maths. But luckily YOU were there.
Abhimanyu- It's nothing, you know... i do what i can to help.
Arohi- You're so nice Abhimanyu. I just wish your girlfriend was the same.
Abhimanyu- You've met Kiara?
Arohi- Yes. I literally ran into her on accident and she acted like a total bitch.
Abhimanyu(laughing)- That sounds like her. She has her moments. I can assure you. I'm not like that.
Arohi- Perfect! I think we'll get along very well Abhimanyu (winking).

Shriya(kia's girlfriend)- Babe look over there. Why is Kiara's man flirting with some chick?
Kia- I need to show this to Kiara.
