After I came in, I saw Cat and Kathi sitting in the second row, surrounded by their mates. The former waved at me and pushed her mate: "We've saved you a seat here, move over!" Quickly, before anyone else could take my place, I dashed to my seat.

"Thank you" I mumbled quietly. When I had finally made myself more or less comfortable, I looked round the class just to see the woman who had pushed me out of the window earlier. Even though I hated her for it, it could have helped me, which unfortunately it didn't do very much.

"Oh, who's there? Amanda, that's right, the supposed mate of the two princes!" she said arrogantly. Oh no! Please just leave me alone; I would have liked to say.

"Who wants to know?" I asked, as bored as possible.

"Leandra Mason!" she replied annoyed and looked at her nails.

"Never heard of her" Cat replied sweetly.

"That shows why you have no taste in fashion! Mason is the brand for every beautiful girl, which you obviously aren't!"

Before Cat could reply, I said aggressively: "Firstly, she has better taste than you! Secondly, we don't have to justify ourselves to you! And thirdly, please leave us alone!"

" Why would I do that? Hmmm... I know! Not a single one! Your reasoning wasn't the best either, by the way!" How could you be so annoying? Was I the only one who was tempted to shut her up? "That leads me to the conclusion that you're scared! Poor little thing!" Leandra mocked, while we had already turned round and were trying to ignore her.

"Have you lost your tongue? Are you going to start crying? And then go and get your boys? Ooh!" Just as she said that, a teacher came in. He had black hair and blue eyes and his smile flashed sharp teeth. A vampire!

He pointed at me: "Are you Amanda Vente?"

"Yes!" I replied nervously. Had I done something wrong?

"I see! I have another question, is Miss Mason bothering you?"

"Something!"

"Do you know that I'm the guidance counsellor here at Love School and I'm against insults, so I'd say Mason out!"

"Why, I'm not going out!"

"Oh, yes, you will!"

"No!" she said bitchily.

"Shall I report your behaviour? You insulted Miss Vente!" he said systematically.

"She did that too!" Leandra screeched.

"I thought you knew I was a vampire and that my hearing was so excellent!" The blonde immediately turned crimson red. "As far as I know, I heard that you started a senseless fight and picked on your classmates. Now let's move on to the second point, by insulting Miss Vente, you've also insulted all werewolves and vampires, like me. Plus Prince Edmund is my nephew, so it's even more of an insult to me! Shall I tell you more or are you going out now?"

"I'm already leaving" she grumbled, not without giving me a dirty look, of course.

Turning to the others, he said: "Hi, I'm here for those who don't know, Mr Dracult. Today it's about the origin planet of my species, Blutoge Tiefen, where we lived before we collided with Earth, where, at least back then, there was barely enough oxygen for all living creatures. Blutige Tiefen, however, brought enough oxygen so that its inhabitants had enough to survive. Nowadays, there are still remnants of this oxygen stowed away in huge capsules. There are some in every country, in case there's a shortage somewhere..."

After three quarters of an hour, he finished the lesson, in which he told us a lot about his original plan. It was also noticeable that he liked to use lots of examples and sometimes even pictures. Unfortunately, this subject also came to an end:

" Homework is page 5, number 16, why was the planet called Blutige Tiefen? Thank you for listening. I'm looking forward to the next lesson with you! See you soon!" Then he hurried out of the classroom.

Shortly afterwards, when everyone had actually already left the class, I left the classroom and then I saw her, Leandra, flirting with my mates. I would have loved to just push her away at that moment. However, I was probably not the only one who felt that way, because on closer inspection I realised that Thomas was already clenching his fists and gritting his teeth, while Edmund was slowly moving further and further away and trying to smile politely, which he was failing to do. If I had been in a different situation, I would probably have laughed out loud, but instead I went to them.

"Hello, you two! Shall we get going?"

"Yes, I'd love to!" Thomas literally shouted and latched on to me like a small child to its mum.

"I'm coming with you too," Edmund added. "How about we go to our room, after all, we don't have any more lessons!"

"Hey!" Leandra then screeched angrily "Where are you going? Man, don't just interrupt a conversation!"

"Unfortunately, we have to. Because we have other commitments" Edmund explained matter-of-factly.

"Just leave us alone" said Thomas, annoyed and rolling his eyes.

"Why is that, Your Highnesses?" she asked in shock, as if she had never been turned down before.

"Please, leave us alone" Edmund tried carefully one last time. I watched the three of them as if it were a football match where the ball was being kicked back and forth the whole time.

They were arguing with Leandra, which I soon lost interest in. I mean, who watches an exchange of blows without getting bored at some point? Not me! So I tried to detach myself from Thomas, which was surprisingly easy as he was so distracted by the conversation. The last thing I needed to do was walk away. Thought, done.

As I turned the next corner, the two of them caught up with me and I asked:

"How did you get rid of that witch?"

"Quite simply," said Thomas calmly: "We said that we could continue the conservation another time, which will never happen, and we finally had to get going!" He grinned at me with his most charming smile. We all fell silent after that, then Thomas asked to break the silence: How's your foot?"

"Better! Everything's working!" I said listlessly.

"Oh, that's great... Do you have any hobbies?" Where did the question come from? Were they trying to strike up a conversation with me?

"That's a really good question," Edmund added eagerly.

When I didn't answer straight away, Thomas continued:

" I'm about to go to the gym! And my other hobbies include fusket, where you shoot basketballs into football goals, and I do a lot of martial arts!"

" I dance, read and can handle a bow and arrow! But I'm going to go to our library first" I replied, confused, because I was still unsure why he was asking me that.

"Do you mean the library in our flat?" Edmund asked.

"Yes!"

"What a coincidence!" Edmund replied happily, "I wanted to go to the library too! In case anyone's interested, I've also learnt a lot of martial arts, I can play a lot of instruments and reading is also one of my hobbies!"

"Well! Have fun, you two!" Thomas then said, kissed my cheek and ran off. "Bye, Princess!"

"How dare you?" I shouted after him, but he didn't hear it or he just ignored it. He would regret that!
