Ryndell stood outside the office of Heart’s parents, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. The plush decor of the Fernandez Manor made him feel slightly out of place, but he knew he had to push through. Today was important; he wanted to ask for Heart's parents' blessing to take her out for an arcade date before she left for Italy.

He knocked gently on the door, and a cheerful voice called out, “Come in!”

Ryndell opened the door to find Heart’s mom, Alexa, sitting behind her elegant desk, sorting through papers, while her husband, Aries, was lounging on a chair, scrolling through his phone. They both looked up, their faces lighting up with friendly smiles.

“Hey, Ryndell! What brings you here?” Alexa asked, her tone warm and welcoming.

“Hi, Ninang! Ninong!” Ryndell replied, stepping into the room. He took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts. “I actually wanted to ask you something.”

Aries raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Oh? This sounds serious. What’s on your mind, young man?”

Ryndell glanced around the room, trying to gauge how to phrase his request. “Well, Heart is about to leave for Italy, and I thought it would be nice to take her out for an arcade before she goes.”

Alexa's eyes sparkled with delight. “An arcade date? That sounds like so much fun! Heart loves playing games. Are you sure you can handle her skills, though?” she teased with a wink.

Ryndell chuckled, feeling more at ease. “I think I can manage. I mean, it’s all about having fun, right?”

Aries nodded, a smile forming on his lips. “Good thinking, Ryndell. It’s important for her to unwind before she goes. Plus, I’ve seen how hard she’s been working lately. She deserves a break.”

Ryndell felt a wave of relief wash over him. “So, is it okay if I take her out?”

“Of course, but you have to make sure she’s back at a reasonable time,” Alexa reminded him, her tone turning slightly serious. “We don’t want her to be too tired before her trip.”

“Absolutely, Ninang! I promise to bring her back on time,” Ryndell replied earnestly, a grin spreading across his face.

“Just make sure you don’t lose to her in any of those games,” Aries said, his tone light but firm. “I’d hate to see you get humiliated by my daughter.”

Ryndell laughed, nodding in agreement. “Don’t worry, Ninong! I’ll practice a bit before we go.”

Alexa leaned back in her chair, her expression softening. “You know, Ryndell, it’s nice to see you putting in the effort for Heart. She can be a bit guarded when it comes to relationships, but I think you might be the one to break down those walls.”

“Thank you, Ninang. I i think like her,” Ryndell admitted, feeling a bit shy but determined. “I want to show her a good time.”

“Then you have our blessing,” Aries said, his tone serious but approving. “Just make sure she knows she can always count on you.”

“I will, Ninong. Thank you!” Ryndell exclaimed, feeling a surge of happiness.

As he stood up to leave, Alexa called out, “Ryndell!”

He turned around, curious.

“Make sure to take lots of pictures. We want to see how much fun you both have!” she added with a wink.

“Of course! I’ll make sure to capture all the moments,” Ryndell promised, feeling energized as he left the office.

As he walked down the hallway, he couldn’t help but smile at the thought of spending time with Heart. An arcade date sounded like the perfect way to connect with her before she left, and he was determined to make it unforgettable.
