Little Holidays

Ace, three, was eager to show his mom (Felicia) what he learned in Sunday Little Sisters school.
He pulled Calico over to the flannelboard with all the animals paired two by two.

"See, mommy?"

He said

"Here's Noah in the dark."

A group of little sisters at the orphanage were singing the praise song "As the Big daddy panteth for the water."
One little sisters voice was heard loudly above the others,

"As the big daddies pants fall in the water . . ."

Alice (Sinclairs & Roses daughter), five, was going through the Little sister catalog wanting this and that and the other.
Sinclair told her,

"Okay, when my ship comes in, you can have it all."

Later Sinclair overheard Alice telling her two sisters (Ella & Felicia),

"Did you all know we're getting a boat?"

When Rosemarys (Atlas's daughter) son (Xavier) was five, Rosemary perchased a Christmas ornament shaped like a wreath, with a place for Xaviers photo in the center.
As she placed the ornament on their tree, Xavier looked at it in awe.

"Where did you get that, mom?"

He said

"I bought it at a little store down at the markets."

Xavier stared at his photo in the center.

"Um...are they selling many of them?"

A little sister was five when she saw a angel with a golden halo circling the angels head.

"Look Mr.Bubbles!"

She said, wide-eyed,

"The angel has a hula hoop!"

Eight-year-old Xavier came home after an exiciting day at a fair. He enthusiastically described be carousel, the trains, and the bumber cars.

"The only thing I didn't like,"

He said with a frown,

"Was that Holy Ghoaster!"

When one little sister went to visit Big Sister, broke out the chicken pox, The Big Sister asked the Little Sister,

"Have you ever had chicken pox?"

The little sister replied,

"No, sister. But I've had goose bumps!"

In preparing her second-graders for a critical standardized test, Brigid Tenenbaum stressed the importance of listening and following all her directions.
The little sisters began working, and as she casually strolled around she noticed a Little sister (Snow) working frantically over her own paper.
She was horrified to see she covered her test with huge check marks made with bright red crayon.

"Snow, what have you done?!"

She gasped.

"You've ruined you test!"

"No Brigid."

Snow calmy shook her shake.

"You told us to check every answer, so I did!"

Little Sister school

Four-year-old Ella came home from doing her homework at the diner and proudly annouced that she could count to one hundred, which she then proceed to do.

"And what comes after one hundred?"

Sinclair asked. Ella replied,

"Percent!"

After her first day of Little sister school, a little sister was asked what shed learned that day.

"Tissle tea," she said

"Tissle what?" Her big daddy asked (Rumbler), confused.

"You know, Mr.Bubbles. we learned how to sing, 'my Country, Tissle Tea.' "

The next day of Little Sister school, the little sister informed her other big daddy (Bouncer) that she would have to study very hard because she had to memorize an important "declapendence." Trying to keep a straight helmet face, Bouncer asked her,

"What is that you have learned again?"

"You know, Mr.Bubbles, the Declapendence of Indapation!"

Ace (Atlas's & Felicia's Son) went to the kindergarten Little Sister class, which lasted from 9:00 to 11:40. The following year he went to first Little sisters grade, with classes from 9:00 until 3:15. After that long first day, he looked up at Atlas and sighed,

"So, how long do the second little sister graders have to stay?"
