I can't believe how proud I am to work with Duke. We have become such good friends and see each other as brothers. I knew that I would have less responsibility in the brotherhood, but seeing how much Duke organizes on his own is truly impressive.

I'm not running away from responsibility..it's just easier to follow than to lead. And after all the time in the SEALS,and the loss of a very close friend, the feelings I wanted to get rid of plagued me for a long time.Maybe I should have done something different, maybe I could have prevented Harper's death..somehow.Duke didn't want me to take over the part of the plans either,he loved it and I was more help as his advisor.

After Cece gave him the information about Torres and Helion, or at least what she knew, he was already giving her instructions on how to find out more.

"Duke, I have to say, I'm amazed at how you handle everything on your own. You're like a one-man army," I said, admiringly.

Duke chuckled, "Thanks, but it's all about teamwork. We all have our strengths and weaknesses, and we need to work together to achieve our goals."

I nodded, realizing that Duke was not only a great leader but also a great friend. Working with him felt like a privilege, and I knew that together, we could accomplish anything.
Cece found out that Torres had a freight delivery every first of the month, and she followed the internet trail all the way to Las Vegas where she suspected Torres was located. She knew that if this was true, Torres must be working with some special people, and she knew just the man who could find out more - Kyle.

After all the crap they had put my family through for years, I knew he wouldn't refuse to help me. After contacting him and briefly explaining who Torres was, we soon got our answer. Not only was Torres in Las Vegas, but he was actually involved with some people Kyle knew.
For Cece, this was enough information to figure out who he was working with and where, giving Duke the opportunity to execute his plan. Nova sat beside me, looking at me lovingly. Although we knew we had to separate work and personal life, we just couldn't stay away from each other.

She held my hand, and I smiled at her as Duke turned to us and asked, "Are you two a thing now?"
Nova's face turned red, and her gaze shot to mine.

"No, we're not a thing," I said, seeing the disappointment in Nova's eyes. "She's my girl... not a thing. She's my baby," I said softly, causing Nova to smile, her eyes filled with pride.

"I wonder when Masters will fold," Duke said with a laugh as he showed something on the screen to Cece.

Cece's eyes were on Duke and he looked at her in confusion as she just stared at him.

" What?" Duke asked, surprised at Cece's behavior.

"What do you mean Master will fold?" she questioned him, causing me and Nova into laughter.

"I just can't with all of you," Duke replied, laughing and turning his gaze to the screen again.

The two discussed something and she began typing.
I also admired her perseverance as she stayed up all night working and even now she was still sitting at the table preparing the plan with Duke.
Her dog Max was on the floor watching over her, or more like the state she was in, he was a service dog, the only time he left the room was to go out with Masters when he brought Cece food.

"Eat..." Masters told her, setting the plate in front of her.

"I'm not hungry right now" she replied typing away.

Masters turned her in her chair to face him and she snorted throwing her hands in the air.
"Now," Masters said making us all look at him.

"You are...so...ughh" Cece exclaimed turning to her plate and starting to eat.
