Chapter 20

Nova

Silas and I left the party through the back entrance where the staff came in and out. He tossed me a motorcycle helmet and hopped on his bike.

"Hurry up, Nova!" he called out to me.

I grabbed onto him tightly as he revved up his bike and we took off, weaving through the city with precision and speed. The adrenaline pumped through my veins as we navigated the streets, dodging obstacles and staying one step ahead of any potential threats.
The lights were a spectacle, blending into each other as he raced through the streets. After some time, we received confirmation from King that Torres had reached his destination. We parked a few streets away to avoid drawing attention.

Torres house was outside the city, a real fortress surrounded by walls and only one entrance, we jumped over the wall and landed in a garden that gave us a view of the house. There were a lot of men there moving around freely, we had to stay hidden until the others arrived.
As we waited for the others to catch up, Silas turned to me.

"We need to move quickly. The longer we stay here, the higher the risk of getting caught." he whispered.

I nodded, understanding the urgency of the situation.
"Let's still wait," I replied, ready to follow King's lead.

"King, we're on the northern part of the estate..." Silas said.

" Good..we just split up..Naoki, Rei and Asami are on the east part..Amara and her people are taking over the west part" came the reply back.

"Wrath you must be our eyes now..." Duke called to make the connection.

" We are here..." came the reply.

"Dylan and a few of us are coming to you and Nova" I heard King say "Wait for the others...no alee entrances.Understood?" asked King sternly.

Silas gave me a look that said he didn't agree with that.
"Those two are in there all alone," he said to me, turning his gaze towards the house.

I nodded, aware of the danger that Rose and Sarah were in but having learned to work as a team, I shook my head.
"Trust the Brotherhood...they know what they're doing," I told him.

Silas' face was worried, he glanced from the house to me a couple of times with his eyebrows furrowed.
"I know...but we are a team Silas, so let's wait" I said to him.

After a while I caught sight of Nate's form, although he was wearing the balaclava, his eyes were immediately recognizable to me.

"We're at the gathering point" Nate said, kneeling down next to me to observe the surroundings.

" Wrath..Void..." King asked, expecting information.

"There are over 20 men in total...the house is protected by cameras, which I'll turn off...I see Torres leading the women down to the basement...Sarah is in a room just down the stairs to the left..." Wrath explained.

"Why did he separate the women?" asked Nate confused.

"I saw a hallway...with many doors...Sarah was drugged...But Rose is with Torres" explained Void.

Silas exhaled deeply looking at me," Those are cells..." he said quietly.

Nate looked at him and nodded, his eyes focused on the surrounding area.

"Who knows what he has in this house...they'll be heavily armed" he said, to which Silas nodded.

"What's the plan, Duke?" I asked softly.

"We smoke them out," he said with amusement in his voice.

Nate and my eyes met, his grin obvious under the balaclava, "Lets fucking go," came from him winking at me.
