Chapter 1

** Brandi's POV **

"Mom! Where are the boxes that have my bed set in it?" I yelled from the top of the stairs.

Me and my mom just moved here, Doncaster, for her job. It's okay I guess. I left all my friends behind. I wish they could have came with me.

"It's by the closet." She yelled back up.

I walked over to my closet and it was right there. I opened it and pulled out my blue bed spread. When I was done with my bed I started unpacking everything else. My clock, pictures, stuff like that.

After I was done putting my stuff away, I heard people talking outside. I walked out the window and saw a group of people. There was 3 girls and 4 boys. There was one boy that was walking on the right, he was cute. He had brown hair, looked to be around my age.

When I was about to turn back around to go downstairs with my mom I looked at the boy on last time, this time he was also looking at me.

I froze, I didn't know what to do so I just stood there. I went to take a step back but my foot got caught on something and I tripped.

I laid on the floor where I landed. I stayed there until I was sure they were not still out there.

"Oh my gosh! What happened?" I heard my mom say running in my room.

"I just tripped. I'm fine." I said getting up.

"You sure?" My mom asked.

"Yes." I said back.

I looked out the window one more time before we walked downstairs, He wasn't there anymore.

When we got downstairs we both went to the living room and sat down.

"So how do you like you room?" My mom asked.

"I like it." I said back turning on the TV. It's Tuesday so there is a new Twisted on tonight.

"I'm gonna go for a walk." I said standing up.

"Okay, but don't be to long." She said back.

I walked upstairs to change before I left. I was in a pair of sweats and I tank top. I walked into my closet and picked out a pair of shorts and a random shirt. The shirt said "HI" on the front and "BYE" on the back.

I walked down the stairs and said bye to my mom while walking out the door. I had my headphones in and the music up loud.

I was just walking, trying to remember the way back to my house. I had no idea where I was going but I didn't care, it was really pretty here. I think I'm gonna like it here.

I was texting my friends, Ryann and Caitlann. They were asking me how I liked it here, what it looks like, questions like that.

After walking around for a little while longer, I started getting hungry. I was trying to find a place with food but had no luck so I was just gonna go back home and get something.

As I was turning around to walk the other way I accidentally ran into somebody.

"I'm so sorry!" I said to the person I ran into.

"Yeah yeah. Just watch where your going next time!" The girl said.

She walked away before I could see her face. All I saw was her hair. It was red and straight.

I turned back around and started walking the way I was. I got to the corner and was waiting until I could cross when somebody tapped my shoulder. I turned around and was stunned when I saw him standing there.
