Chapter 10

*Nathan's POV*

I finally caught my breath and looked up to see Caitlann standing there crying.

"Can you talk to me now? Tell me what's wrong? I can't stand seeing you cry. Is it about your mom?" I asked her.

"Yeah. It's about my mom. About everything before I moved here. I was glad to get away from it but now Brandi and Ryann are starting to act like my mom and I don't know if I can take it." She managed to get out between cries.

I didn't say anything. I knew she wasn't done talking so I waited for her to continue.

"I used to cut myself." She said looking down at the ground and putting her wrist into view. "I still have scars." She continued.

When she told me she used to cut herself and she still had scars I wanted to cry. Comfort her. Not let her be in pain anymore. It hurts me to see her cry and it hurt me even more when I found out she used to cut.

"Can we go somewhere other than here in public. Maybe your house. Anywhere other than back there." She said.

"Yeah but it might be a long walk. You ran pretty far and pretty fast. I'm surprised I could keep up with you." I said laughing.

"Well as long as I can take a shower and change out of these clothes when we get there ill be fine." She said pointing at the clothes she was wearing and laughing.

"You can take a shower and borrow some of my clothes. They should fit you." I said. "You don't mind do you?" I asked.

"Nope." She said smiling. "I'll explain everything after I get cleaned up." She said and i nodded.

No more tears! I hope it stayed this way.

*Ryann's POV*

"I hope she's okay!" I said to whoever was listening.

"Me to!" I heard Brandi say.

"We shouldn't have acted that way! We should have just left her be. At least we would know she's here and safe." I said. I was blaming it on myself because I truly believe it was my fault for making her upset and run.

"Don't worry. She's probably with Nathan right now." Louis said. "She will be okay with him.

"But she's alone with him. Who knows what they could be doing!" Brandi said.

"Brandi!! It doesn't matter. If she's safe she's safe. Who cares what they are doing!" I yelled.

"Nathan wouldn't do that. He's a good kid. He really likes her." Louis said to both of us. He was the only one that was calm through this whole thing.

"She really likes him. You can tell when their with each other. Especially when she didn't want him to leave last night." Brandi said. "I do wonder what they are doing right now though."

"I do to but it's nothing bad. I can assure you of that." Louis said.

"Okay." I said sitting down. "What do we do now?"

"I'll call Nathan and ask him if she's alright." Louis said pulling out his phone. "Alright?"

"Yeah." Me and Brandi both said.

"Do you want me to text Caitlann?" I asked pulling out my phone.

"Umm. Sure." Louis said walking out of the room.

I pulled out my phone and began to text Caitlann.

Me: Hey! Are you okay?

I got a text back 5 minutes later.
