Gabriel laughed, shaking his head. "Priorities!"

After a few hours of moving and arranging, they finally settled down on the couch, surrounded by unpacked boxes and the remnants of their takeout feast. As they ate, Lily felt a surge of gratitude wash over her.

"This feels right," she said, looking around at their new home. "I can't believe we're really here."

"Me neither," Gabriel replied, taking her hand. "We're building a life together, and it's just the beginning."

Lily leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. "Thank you for making this happen. I've always wanted a place to call home, and now it feels real."

"Definitely," Lily replied, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "I think setting some ground rules would be helpful. And we should check in with each other regularly to see how we're feeling about things."

Gabriel smiled, appreciating her willingness to discuss these important topics. "That sounds perfect. I'm glad we're on the same page."
