Ilay stood outside the door of his quarters at UNHRDO, taking deep, steady breaths. After a moment, he opened the door and called out, "Taeiii..."

"I'm here. Just came out of the shower" came Tae-ui's reply as he stepped out of the washroom, a robe loosely tied around his waist.

Ilay leaned against the door for support, his back pressed against it as Tae-ui entered the room. Tae-ui's eyes brightened at the sight of Ilay standing there. He dropped his phone onto the bed and crossed the room with long, purposeful strides, pulling Ilay into a kiss.

"I missed you" Tae-ui whispered between kisses.

"I hate you..." Ilay muttered in response, his voice tense.

"Good for you..." Tae-ui whispered back with a small smile.

Without warning, Ilay picked Tae-ui up and tossed him onto the bed, a little rougher than intended.

"Ouch... ouch" Tae-ui winced, clutching the left side of his chest.

Ilay's expression shifted immediately, his concern obvious. "What is it? Are you fucking injured?" he asked, his voice laced with worry.

"Yeah..." Tae-ui admitted, breathing heavily. "Just... give me a moment."

"Fuck, fuck, fuck" Ilay cursed under his breath, pacing in agitation.

Tae-ui took a deep breath. "I'm fine... just for a moment."

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry" Ilay whispered, his earlier frustration melting into concern. He leaned down, pressing a kiss to Tae-ui's forehead.

For a moment, Tae-ui lay there, his eyes closed as Ilay kissed his forehead, cheeks, and eyes, whispering soothing words while gently patting Tae-ui's head. The tension in the room gradually eased as Ilay continued his soft ministrations.

Tae-ui slowly opened his eyes. "I'm fine now. Come here" he said, opening his arms, inviting a hug.

Ilay carefully leaned in, wrapping his arms around Tae-ui, holding him close for a while in silence.

After a moment, Tae-ui shifted. "Get up. I need to show you something" he said, motioning for Ilay to move aside.

Standing up on the bed, Tae-ui untied his robe and let it slip off. "How is it? Do you like it?" he asked, his hand brushing over left side of his stomach.

Ilay wasn't looking where Tae-ui expected. His gaze had drifted elsewhere, his expression serious.

"Hey, you're looking at the wrong place" Tae-ui said, raising an eyebrow, slightly amused.

"How did you get injured?" Ilay asked, his eyes fixated on Tae-ui's chest.

Tae-ui let out a small sigh. "This is almost done—just stitches. I'll be fine in a week."

Ilay's eyes narrowed. "I asked something else, Jeong Tae-ui."

Tae-ui, still stubborn, retorted, "And I asked you to look somewhere else, but you're focusing on the wrong thing."

Ilay made a frustrated face before reluctantly scanning Tae-ui from top to bottom. His gaze finally stopped at the tattoo on the left side of Tae-ui's stomach— a tiger with Ilay's name inked on its neck .

Ilay's hand reached out, gently caressing the tattoo. "You look a bit tanned too" he commented, though his tone remained serious.

"Any comments on the gift?" Tae-ui asked, a hint of impatience creeping in. "You're killing my excitement."

"Come here... let me see closely" Ilay said softly, pulling Tae-ui into his lap.

With Tae-ui nestled in his arms, Ilay's hands moved gently over his head and face, his touch careful, almost reverent. He kissed Tae-ui's cheek near his nose, whispering, "I loved it."
