Luca woke early that morning, feeling a warmth radiating from his chest. He reached down, his fingers brushing against the soft fabric of Raya's shirt. She was sleeping soundly, her head resting on his shoulder, her breathing steady and even.
It was like something he had dreamed of for so long, a moment of peace and contentment that seemed almost too good to be true. He held her tighter, his heart filled with a mixture of love and gratitude.
Last night was intense with desperation taking over both of them. Raya moved forward with her hands moving down to where the towel hanged low on Luca's body. Luca stopped her as he didn't wanted to take it further until Raya was clear about her feelings. She wanted him but she was still away from realizing her feelings for him, which kept Luca restricting himself of having Raya fully.
Luca stood there motionless, staring at Raya, his heart filled with a mixture of love and longing. The morning sun began to creep over the horizon, casting a soft glow over the room. He watched as Raya's eyelashes fluttered, her lips curving into a gentle smile.
It was finally the day when they were about to know who would be crowned as the champion this year. Letting Raya sleep like a child, Luca went to freshen up and get ready for today's final event.
Raya woke soon after Luca got out of bed, her eyes fluttering open. She saw him standing by the window, the morning sunlight casting a warm glow on his face. She smiled, a sense of peace washing over her.
"I should go," she said, her voice soft. "I have to get ready for the finals."
Luca nodded, his heart filled with a mixture of excitement and anticipation. "Good luck," he said, his eyes filled with love and admiration.
It was the final blowout where Raya and Luca would be racing against each other. As soon as he knew Raya had won her semifinal race, Luca had called up to Gutenberg to make arrangements for his beloved car, the one that had once witnessed the wildness of their love. And today, he was going to race with this car, a symbol of their shared passion.
As he stood at the starting line, his eyes locked on Raya, a surge of emotions washed over him. He was excited, nervous, and filled with a sense of purpose.
"I will be racing against my girl," Luca exclaimed, a mischievous glint in his eye. Raya blushed, her face turning a rosy hue. They were both geared up with passion written all over their faces, their competitive spirits ignited.
Their musings lay outside the track, their personal feelings temporarily set aside. For now, they were rivals, competitors vying for victory.
The track hummed with anticipation as the cars lined up at the starting grid. Luca and Raya, two fierce competitors, were about to embark on a race that would test their limits and push them to the edge of their abilities. The air was thick with tension, the crowd's roar a deafening symphony of excitement.
As the flag dropped, both cars surged forward, their engines roaring to life. Luca, a seasoned racer with years of experience, shot out of the gate with a burst of speed. Raya, on the other hand, took a more calculated approach, biding her time and waiting for the right moment to strike.
The first lap was a blur of motion, a whirlwind of speed and precision. Luca maintained a comfortable lead, his car gliding effortlessly around the curves. Raya, however, was not far behind, her eyes focused on the road ahead, her hands gripping the steering wheel with unwavering determination.
As they entered the second lap, Raya began to make her move. She shifted gears, her hand moving in a blur as she downshifted, the car's engine roaring in response. The car's rear end swung out slightly as she took a sharp turn, a controlled drift that showcased her skill and precision. Luca, taken aback by Raya's sudden burst of speed, had to work hard to keep up.
