two years. It's been two years since ni-ki had left korea, and sunoo would be lying if he said he didn't miss the mischievous younger.

sunoo still kept in contact with ni-ki, obviously. But as time passed, the two had been talking less and less due to ni-ki's packed schedules.

it was the last day of school before the christmas holidays and excitement was in the air. The outside of the building was bustling with a sense of anticipation along with eager gossips amongst the crowd.

while some students were preparing to head home, others were exchanging last minute gifts and making plans with their family and friends for the rest of the holiday. The overall atmosphere was filled with warmth despite the cold weather.

" so where should we go? " jungwon asked, his fists clenched in his coat pockets while jay wrapped an arm around the boy.

they already made plans to go somewhere after school on the last day before the holidays as a little hangout. " times square mall? " jake suggested.

" sounds nice. I was planning to go to a mall anyway. " sunoo responded with a laugh. " I was gonna kill you guys if you let me suffer in the cold. "

sunghoon rolled his eyes at the blonde's behaviour and shook his head with a chuckle escaping his lips. " typical ddeonu. We know you too well. "

meanwhile, heeseung was on his phone and looking through something in silence until he finally raised his head up from his screen. " should we just split into two ubers now? "

" sounds good to me " jay shrugged casually and ruffled jungwon's hair after the cat-like boy secretly pinched him on the back.

" alright it's settled. Sunghoon, you'll go with jay and jungwon while sunoo will come with me and jake. " heeseung answered.

" aghh, I don't want to third wheel with.. them. " sunghoon groaned and ran his hand through his hair as the others laughed at his behaviour. It was understandable, jay and jungwon were too sweet.

as sunoo, heeseung and jake finally got onto their uber, the oldest noticed sunoo texting someone on his phone in a focused manner, leaving him to raise his eyebrow up in curiosity.

" sunoo yah, who are you texting thats snatching all your attention? " heeseung smirked.

" exactly. I was just giving gossip and all you did was say uh huh and nod. I thought you like these things! " jake huffed as heeseung patted the other's shoulder with a chuckle.
