The air was crisp and cool, with frost sparkling on the ground. Snow-covered trees adorned the landscape, their branches drooping slightly under the weight. The sky was a dark inky blue, with stars reflecting off the snow and creating a dazzling display.

Christmas lights were strung up from houses and trees, their bright colors standing out against the white background. A gentle breeze rustled the branches, sending a flurry of snowflakes shimmering through the night.

Meanwhile, the group had been endulged in the merry and lively atmosphere indoors. Colorful lights hung from the ceiling, casting a festive glow. A large Christmas tree was decorated with shimmering tinsel and ornaments and a star on top.

The first snow played in the background, and the scent of pine and freshly baked cookies filled the air. As candles and stockings adorned the fireplace, the room radiated with warmth and cheer.

It was perfect, Sunoo thought. His mind lingered with rememberance of how he got the best present ever from last year. Ni-ki's return and a kiss from him under the moonlit sky. He couldn't wait to spend another christmas with the younger.

Until jake had ruined his endearing train of thoughts with a shocking piece of information.

" You what?! We planned this since the start of december! " Sunoo shrieked after watching jake's awkward announcement of not buying any gifts yet.

They had all decided to play secret santa and Sunoo was in charge of it. But what's the point if jake didn't fulfill his own role?

" I couldn't think of anything good to buy ni-ki. " Jake muttered nervously under his breath while he scratched the back of his neck.

" You could've got him a headset, clothes, figures, everything! He's not that hard to think of— " Sunoo groaned in impatience.

This was the lineup : Jake —> Ni-ki —> Jungwon —> Heeseung —> Jay —> Sunoo —> Sunghoon.

" Well it's nothing special! He already has all those things stuffed up in his room. He doesn't need anymore. " Jake scoffed and rolled his eyes. "

" What do you mean nothing special? He's obsessed with those things," sunoo retorted, frustration creeping into his tone. " Now everyone will get a gift except him. And the stores are already closed. " He sighed before continuing, " did you seriously have to notify me on the freaking day it's happening..?! "

Jake groaned at the sudden pressure of the situation. " I couldn't bring myself to tell you about it, okay? I didn't think it would be such a big deal. I thought I'd have an idea of what to get eventually. " he tried to reason, but sunoo wasn't having it.

Sunoo shook his head in disbelief, " Ni-ki notices everything. " his gaze flicked towards a nearby door, the sound of laughter and chatter echoing from within. " Everyone's waiting for us outside. I can't just let him sit there empty-handed while everyone else gets something. Can you blame me for caring? "
