"So... how was that date of yours?" Kelly asked, looking at Tara as she tried to hide her disgust with a fake smile.
"It was... fun, I had a good time." Tara answered truthfully as she smiled softly, opening her locker and got her history book.
"I still can't believe it." Kelly sighed as she opened her locker.
"Believe what?" Tara asked, raising an eyebrow as she stared at Kelly and slammed her locker hard, making a loud noise in the process.
"You and him... together." Kelly replied and cringed at the thought of it. Kelly quickly got her math book and slammed her locker hard, also making a loud noise in the process. Their next classes were right next to each other, and it was easier for them to walk together.
"We went out to eat and then walked on a beach," Tara said, smiling from ear to ear as her face burned and turned strawberry red. "It was just so romantic." Tara finished and let out a soft and happy sigh as they began walking together.
"I'm still surprised, that is all." Kelly said in a soft murmur as they walked straight in the halls.
"Why is it so shocking that Marcus asked me out?" Tara asked, blinking fast and looked straight ahead, fighting back tears.
"I didn't think he would." Kelly answered and shrugged.
"Am I that big of a loser?" Tara asked and slowly shook her head.
"That is not what I am saying." Kelly sighed in defeat and frowned.
"Then what are you saying, Kel?" Tara snapped.
"I am just worried about you." Kelly answered.
