(Y/N sat alone at the edge of the school courtyard, knees pulled to his chest, staring at the cracked pavement. The laughter of other students echoed around him, but it felt like he was in a different world. Isolated. Lost.)

(They had done it again—Y/N's tormentors. Another day of cruel taunts, humiliating pranks, and physical abuse. He couldn't fight back. He didn't have the strength, the courage, or the will. The weight of his sadness had grown heavier each day, pushing him closer to the edge. The thought of escaping it all had crossed his mind more than once.)

(No one cared. At least, that's what Y/N thought.)

(Until she came.)

(Y/N first met Dr. Saphentite "Sapphee" Neikes in the most unlikely place—at the school clinic. His bruised arm from one of the bullies' "games" had brought him there. Her calm, measured voice greeted him as he hesitantly entered the sterile room.)

Saphee: Sit down, let me take a look

Saphee: Sit down, let me take a look.

(Sapphee said, her smooth hands guiding Y/N to the examination table. He felt her serpent-like tail brush against his leg, reminding him she wasn't an ordinary doctor. She was a lamia—half human, half snake.)

(At first, Y/N had been uneasy around her. But the way she moved, the way she looked at him with concern—something about it was comforting. Almost maternal.)

Saphee: You've been hurt a lot, haven't you?

(Sapphee's voice was soft, but there was an undertone that hinted at something more intense. Y/N simply nodded. He didn't have the energy to explain the daily abuse, nor did he think anyone would care.)

(But Sapphee cared. And it showed.)

(Over the next few weeks, Y/N found himself returning to the clinic more often. Not just because of the bullying, but because of her. Sapphee wasn't just a doctor—she was attentive, protective, and far more interested in his well-being than anyone else had ever been.)

Saphee: You can't keep letting them do this to you.

(Sapphee said one day, wrapping bandages around Y/N's wrist. There was a glint in her golden eyes, something dangerous, but he didn't think much of it at the time.)

(One day, as Y/N sat in the clinic, Sapphee's usual quiet demeanor seemed to shift. She wasn't alone this time. A towering, stoic woman entered behind her, the sharp clack of her hooves against the tile floor sending a chill down Y/N's spine.)

(Tisalia Scythia, the centaur, looked down at you with her piercing eyes.)

Tisalia: (to Saphee) So this is the one

Tisalia: (to Saphee) So this is the one.

Y/N: (confused) What do you mean?

Sapphee: We've been watching you. You're... special to us. And those people hurting you—they're nothing but pests. It's only right to remove them, don't you think?

Tisalia: (snorts) I've dealt with those who think they can hurt the weak before. They won't last long.

(A part of Y/N wanted to protest, to tell them it wasn't worth it. But a darker, buried part of him felt something else. A cold, thrilling sense of justice. Maybe it was time someone cared enough to fight for him. Y/N just never expected it to be them—monstrous women who seemed to be growing more possessive of him by the day.

(More came after that. Lulala Heine, the mermaid singer with her hauntingly beautiful voice, visited the clinic often, cooing over Y/N with concern. Her melodic whispers sent shivers down his spine, her watery eyes filled with obsession.)

Lulala: I could drown them

Lulala: I could drown them. It wouldn't be hard.

(Then there was Arahnia Taranterra, the spider woman. She was the most unsettling of them all. Her sharp, calculating eyes watched Y/N like prey whenever he was around. She spoke little but spun webs of fate that he couldn't quite unravel.)

Arahnia: Do you want me to bind them? It would be so easy

Arahnia: Do you want me to bind them? It would be so easy... so permanent.

(Y/N didn't know what to say. But he didn't stop them either.)

(The day the bullies disappeared, Y/N knew it wasn't a coincidence. The rumors spread fast: they had been found in terrible states—terrified, beaten, some too scared to return to school. Some were never found at all.)

(Y/N didn't ask Sapphee or the others about it, but the way they looked at him, their smiles softer, almost pleased, told him everything he needed to know. They had done it—for him.)

(One evening, after another quiet day at school, Y/N sat alone in your room. Or so he thought.)

(A knock came from the window. Y/N turned, only to see Sapphee slithering inside, her tail coiling around his bed as she pulled herself in. Her eyes gleamed in the dark.)

Sapphee: (softly) We've protected you. You don't need anyone else now, do you?

(Behind her, the others appeared—Tisalia's looming form, Lulala's voice humming a quiet tune, Arahnia perched on the wall like a predator. They surrounded Y/N, their presence both comforting and terrifying.)

Sapphee: (whispers) You belong to us. No one will hurt you again. Ever.

(And in that moment, surrounded by their possessive stares and soft caresses, Y/N realized something.)

(Y/N wasn't alone anymore. But he wasn't free either.)

(Y/N was theirs now.)

(Forever.)
