Kaliah's P.O.V

I was shaken awake by someone. "No." They chuckled. "Love, you've been asleep for hours." I blink my eyes open to see the one and only annoying Pan. I glare at him. "Well, I don't appreciate being woken up by someone who looks like they just rolled out of bed themselves." He laughed. He laughed at me! "Excuse me, but I was enjoying my slumber. Why did you have to interrupt my precious sleep with your incessant chatter? And may I add, your laughter is quite uncalled for" I say simply. He scoffs. "Well, if you valued your beauty sleep as much as you value your sass, maybe you wouldn't be such a grumpy bear in the mornings," Pan retorted with a smirk. My mouth hung open at the insult. My eyes narrowed as I shot back, "Well, if you spent half as much time grooming yourself as you do irritating me, maybe you wouldn't look like a disheveled mess all the time." Pan's smirk faltered for a moment, taken aback by my retort. But he quickly recovered, chuckling softly. "Touche, my dear. But remember, it takes one to know one." I huffed in annoyance, refusing to let him get the upper hand. "Oh, please. I may be grumpy in the mornings, but at least I have the decency to look presentable. Can't say the same for you, now can I?" Pan's laughter filled my ears, signaling the end of our banter—for now.

"What are we doing today?" I asked. He smiled. "Well we're training." I stared into his green eyes. I never noticed how dark they were. They were a beautiful color. He's also pretty cute. Hell, he's hot. Oh god. WHY IN THE WORLD DID I THINK THAT?! NOPE! STOP KALIAH! DO NOT THINK OF THESE THINGS! My face must've had a weird expression for Pan waving his hand in front of my face saying, "Kaliah, earth to Kaliah." I looked at him. "What?" He chuckled and backed away. "You okay?" I nodded. "Just zoned out." He obviously didn't believe me, but he didn't push. "Shall we go?" I ask. He nods and leads me to where the Lost Boys were training.

Pan's P.O.V

I watched as Kaliah beat all the boys with her sword. I was tired of watching her win. I stood up and walked over to her, stepping in front of the boy named Ash, with a sword in my hand. "I'm going next." I say. She stares at me. "What? Scared?" I ask. She scoffs. "Scared? Hardly. I just thought it was about time to show you how it's really done." I smirked in response, "Oh, I can't wait to see you try. But just remember, I don't go easy on anyone, not even you." Then the duel began.

I swung at her and she blocked it with ease. We kept doing this until she swung at me and I hit her sword out of her grip. Her eyes widened in shock. "Bloody hell." She mumbles and runs to where her sword is laid in the sand. I teleported in front of her and pushed her back teleporting us in the forest, with me pinning her to a tree with the sword to her neck. Her eyes scan my face. "I win." I whisper in her ear. "You may have won the battle, but the war is far from over." She whispers to me. I smile and breathe against her neck. I push my body against hers and my breath fans her neck. I feel her shiver under my body and I smile at her discomfort. "That's what I'm afraid of," I say, my voice low and dangerous. "Because I'm not going to stop until I've won the war." I let her go and teleported to my hut.

WOW PAN! You like her and now you don't want to take her heart. STUPID STUPID PAN! You should've avoided her until it was time. But now I can't kill her! UGH, I need the boy. So much work.

After a while I hear the boys coming to camp and I smile when I see Kaliah. I just need the boy now, and then I can live forever.

Kaliah's P.O.V

After Pan had teleported to who knows where, I went back to the boys and we walked back to camp. When we arrived Pan was smiling a smile that said, 'I know something you don't'. I hated those smiles. Especially when Pan did it, he just looked so happy but annoyed. I wonder what he was thinking. Little did I know Pans plan had changed.
