Peter's P.O.V

After Kaliah left to sit with the boys I went to find Atticus. He was leaning against a tree with a white cloth to his bloodied nose. When he noticed me he said, "I did what you asked, can you take me home? Please Pan." I smiled darkly. "Of course," He exhaled in relief. "If you never speak to Kaliah again, or even let her see you again. Do you understand?" He looked at me confused. "Y-Yes Pan, I understand." I waved my hand and he was gone.

When I made it back to camp I looked to see Kaliah leaning against a tree, asleep. I shook my head with a slight smile. She looked so happy and peaceful. I really did actually like her, but we can't be together, let alone friends. My plan has to work, I really want to find another way. But this one is easier, she's here. My only job is to keep from having feelings for her, easy. In the back of my mind I could hear a voice that said; You've already failed.

-Next morning-

Kaliah's P.O.V

My eyes fluttered open and I saw Pan only inches from my face. "Ah!' I jumped back and hit my head on the tree behind me. He laughed as I rubbed my now throbbing head. "Why would you do that?" I shout at him. He shrugs with a smirk. "I don't know, I just thought it was funny." I huffed in frustration. "Your impossible Pan." He nodded. "Impossible to reject." I frowned and gave him a glare. "Haha Pan, so funny." He smiled and stared into my eyes. "Yeah, I am." If I hadn't been so busy rolling my eyes I would've noticed him look down to my lips. When I focused on him again he was staring at me. I kitted my eyebrows in confusion. "Rude to stare."

He cleared his throat and said, "Well, um, w-we should get going." I was now absolutely on alert. "Where?" He laughed. "A tour around the island of course." I watched him suspiciously as we walked through the forest. He would point out things like; the Echo caves or Mermaid Lagoon. When he stopped I saw a giant rock in the image of a skull. "That's skull rock." He said. I nod slightly taking in the view. He suddenly wraps his arms around my thin waist and we lift off the ground. I turned to face him and wrapped my lanky arms around his neck tightly, and wrapped my long legs around his torso, scared of falling.

He laughed. "I won't drop you, I promise." I squeeze my eyes shut. "I really don't believe you Pan, just please, please do NOT drop me!" I cried. I was terrified of heights. "You don't like heights do you?" I shake my head fast. I could feel his body shake slightly against mine as he chuckled. "It's not funny!" I felt him nod. "Yes it is." "No. It. Is. Not." I say sternly. He sighs. "You can let go of me, you know." I open my eyes and I see we were on the ground, well he was, I was still wrapped around him. "How long have we been standing here?" He smirks. "About a minute." I scoff and jump away from him. "Why didn't you tell me that?!" He smiled widely. "I didn't mind a pretty girl on me." I scrunch my nose slightly. "Ew." He chuckles.

"Why did you bring me here?" I ask. He takes my small hand in his larger one leading me inside of , 'skull rock'. I follow him. We go up some stairs and I see a big hourglass. "What.Is.That?" I ask in astonishment. He looks at me. "It's Neverlands time left." I snap my head to him. "What do you mean, 'Neverlands time left'?" I ask, mimicking his accent. He chuckles softly. "Neverland's dyeing, and I don't sound like that." I nod my head, "Why is Neverland dyeing? And you definitely sound like that." He shakes his head. "It's magic is running out and needs you to save it. And I do not sound like that." I was starting to understand. "Oh, what do I have to do?" He smiles victoriously. "I'll tell you when the time comes, but for now we wait until the full moon." The full moon is in a week. "Okay." He grabs my hand and we're back to the camp. "Wait," I say. He looks at me. "Yes?" I cross my arm over my chest and ask, "Why didn't you just teleport us there? You obviously just wanted me to save the island." He chuckles evilly, "Where's the fun in that?" I scoff and stomp off to the log I always sit at. And think about what I could possibly have to do to save magic. What would the price be?

Pan's P.O.V

I watched Kaliah stomp off to the log she sat at. I sighed. This whole, 'don't get feeling for her' thing was way harder than I thought. She's funny, tough, strong willed, smart, and so beautiful. Why couldn't she have been whiny and ugly? Then I wouldn't have a problem not falling for her. I just have to get through the week, not that hard. Right?
