The air was thick with early morning mist as Tyler Smith walked to school, feeling as he always did – like a ghost drifting through the world. School was just another day of invisibility; he blended in so well that teachers forgot his name, and even his family barely acknowledged him. To them, he was Tyler Smith: a shadow, an afterthought, lost in the monotony of daily life. But he endured, holding onto hope for something beyond his reach.

That morning, fate took an unexpected turn. Tyler didn't see the semi-truck veering toward him until it was too late. There was a flash of pain, then silence. He wasn't frightened, though. Instead, he felt weightless, adrift in a warm, endless abyss, like floating in the safest place he'd ever known. No more worries, no more loneliness—just a sense of peace.

Tyler might have floated there forever if he hadn't caught the attention of a figure who could only be described as ancient and powerful—a god from another universe, Prima, one of the Primes. Souls rarely passed through the "in-between" where Tyler now drifted, and only the most resilient caught Prima's eye. Prima looked deep into Tyler's memories, seeing a young soul who had endured much yet clung to life with quiet strength and persistence. Moved by Tyler's inner resilience, Prima made a decision: Tyler would be reborn, not as a human, but as a Cybertronian sparkling.

With a surge of energy, Prima gathered Tyler's soul, molding it into a new form. Tyler's very essence transformed, becoming a glowing spark. The god then crafted a sleek, advanced body around this spark, full of intricate Cybertronian tech, in shades of gray, dappled black, with hints of lime green and dark purple—a tribute to Tyler's bright spirit, hidden yet resilient. His name was reborn too: Moonshine.

When the transformation was complete, Prima left his mark on Moonshine's data—a legacy that few would understand. Tyler, now Moonshine, would not know it yet, but his data bore a trace of Prima himself, as if a part of the Prime had become his sire. This hidden signature would remain dormant, waiting to be discovered.

And then, Moonshine's optics flickered open for the first time.
