Far from Cybertron and deep within the solar system, a lone capsule drifted, hurtling toward Earth at tremendous speed. Inside, Moonshine—Tyler reborn—was cocooned in a sturdy, high-tech vessel, designed to keep him safe through his journey. Faint glimmers of green and purple danced within the capsule, casting soft glows around him as he remained in stasis, his spark quietly pulsing in rhythm. As the capsule entered Earth's atmosphere, it streaked downward in a fiery descent, slicing through clouds and sky until it crashed into a dense, mountainous forest. The impact shook the ground and left a deep scar in the earth, but the capsule's design protected Moonshine, keeping him entirely unharmed. Immediately, an automated distress signal activated, a silent beacon reaching out from the crash site.
Not far from there, hidden among the trees, two sleek figures—Sunstreaker and his twin brother, Sideswipe—were locked in a race, tearing through the pine forest with speed and precision, each trying to outdo the other. Trees blurred as they moved, their attention fixed on the thrill of competition until a sudden alert came through their systems.
A distress signal—its origin unknown.
They halted, casting each other a quick, uncertain glance. The signal's origin was unlike any they'd encountered, an anomaly in their routine. It might have been anything, but it demanded their attention. "Are you getting this?" Sideswipe muttered, optics narrowing as he tried to process the signal's source. There was something almost...familiar about it, but he couldn't pinpoint why.
Sunstreaker, immediately on alert, opened a secure channel to their command center. "Distress signal detected," he reported, voice tense. "Unidentified source. We're investigating."
With a nod to each other, the twins shifted gears and sped off toward the source, weaving quickly through the dense foliage as they neared the crash site. The forest grew quiet around them, as if the very ground was holding its breath.
When they reached the clearing, they saw it—a large metallic capsule, half-buried in the earth, the faint hum of energy emanating from within. They exchanged a wary glance. Whatever was inside the capsule, it was still active, alive, and sending out a signal strong enough to catch their attention.
The clearing was silent as they stood there, the weight of the unknown looming over them. Whatever they were about to discover, it was bound to be something they'd never expected.
