Season 7

Episode 4

SMG3 hesitated outside the castle doors. His foot tapped the ground as he listened to the thoughts of everyone inside.

WHERE DID EGGDOG AND BEEG GO? That sounded like Tari. She must have been taking care of them. But what happened to 4?

Will SMG4 ever come out of his room? Mario's worried. So that's what happened to 4. Jeez, how long has he been stuck in his room for?

Why does Eggdog have a bomb in his mouth? That was Meggy's voice. 3 smiled when he heard that. He missed his son a lot.

Poor Mario. He really hasn't been himself. I'm worried about him. Luigi's voice. What had been happening for the past 6 months?

It's all your fault. You stupid stupid idiot. 4's voice. SMG3 immediately forgot about all of his early nervousness and knocked on the castle doors. 3's tails hit the ground as he waited for someone to answer the door. He was really worried about 4.

He perked up, ears twitching, as he heard the door open. Meggy stepped out with an annoyed look on her face.

3 smiled. "Hi Meggy!" he hoped she recognized him.

However, she did not. "Who are you and what do you want?" she glared at him.

"Meggy it's me! It's SMG3!" he pointed to himself, trying to make her believe him.

Meggy looked 3 up and down. "Last time I checked 3 didn't look like that."

3 glared at her. "I've been gone for half a year, Meggy. People can change."

"I still don't believe you. What do you want?" Meggy muttered.

"I wanna talk to 4. I need to talk to 4." 3 pleaded but Meggy laughed at him.

"Anyone who knows anything about 4 knows he hasn't talked to anyone since 3 left!"

"Well how was I supposed to know!? I've been gone for 6 months!" 3 lashed his tails, the sharp blade-like edge glinting in the sunlight.

Meggy looked worried once she saw his tails. "Fine. If you really wanna talk to 4 I'll ask him." turning around she yelled into the castle. "4 someone wants to talk to you!" She waited a few seconds after that but no response. Sighing, she turned back to 3. "I told you, he's not talking to anyone."

"Let me go talk to him! I'm sure he'll listen to me!" 3 said with confidence.

Meggy glared at him again. "You are not coming into this castle 'SMG3'." she put air quotes when she said 'SMG3'. He was slightly stung by it but brushed it off.

"Is there any way I can prove my innocence and prove to you that I'm actually 3?"

"Yes actually there is." she murmured and left the doorway. She came back a few seconds later, Eggdog in her hands.

3's eyes dilated as he saw his cute fluffy son. "Eggdog! Hi boy! How've you been doing? I'm sorry I wasn't here for a while but I'm back!" he reached out his hand to Eggdog, slightly hesitant but Eggdog burrowed into his hand quickly. 3 picked him up and gave him a bunch of small kisses on his fluffy, little forehead.

3 looked back up at Meggy. "Meggy, it's really me. It's really 3."

Meggy started to tear up once she finally realized it was him. "3!" she cried, pulling him into a tight hug.

He hugged her back and smiled at her. "Finally you recognized me, you damn squid."

Meggy smiled back at him and pushed him slightly. "Shut up gayass."

3 laughed and looked at her. "I am a gayass thank you very much." he started to fidget with his pin.

Meggy saw him doing this and hit his hand away to get a proper look at the pin. She laughed when she read it and said to 3 "You've finally come to your senses and realized you were gay huh?"

"I realized I was gay since a couple days after I left." 3 smiled. "I came out to my friends and they got me this hat with the pin. They said the beanie reminded them of my old hat and the pin reminded them of... well me!" 3 took his hat off and looked at it, his long hair free of its prison. "They... they really are great." he sighed and put his hat back on.

Meggy looked at him. "Friends? What friends?"

3 looked up at her and smiled. "Yeah! I have some new friends. They're pretty cool."

Before Meggy could speak again, a new voice sounded behind them. "3?"

3 looked past Meggy and saw Tari, Mario, Luigi, Bob, Sakio, Melony and Boopkins.

"Hi guys." SMG3 smiled when he saw all of them. He was about to speak again but got hug attacked by Mario.

"S M G 3!!!!!!!!" Mario cried, hugging him tightly. Suddenly everyone was surrounding him and hugging him. He appreciated it but he was starting to get overwhelmed.

"Hi guys." he took a few steps back, spreading his wings out.

They all looked at 3 in awe. "Wow! How'd you get wings?" Tari asked.

3 looked at her. "You do realize I have more than just wings right?" This made everyone look him up and down multiple times, taking everything in.

"Wow DuDe yOu hAVe caT eArS?" Bob laughed.

3 glared at him. "So what if I do? Apparently, according to my friends anyway, the cat ears are supposed to represent shapeshifting." 3 smiled at him, showing off his fangs.

"あなたには牙があります?" Sakio muttered.

"Uh yeah." 3 scratched the back of his head.

"And you have antlers!" Melony exclaimed.

"Mhm." 3 was becoming more anxious by the second.

"He has tails too!" Meggy spoke up, jestering to 3's tails.

"Is it just me or is he taller too?" Boopkins pointed up at him.

"Yeah I'm taller. Instead of being 5'1 I'm 5'9 now. Also these combat boots give me some added height." 3 put his hands on his hips.

"You've changed SMG3. A lot." Mario murmured.

"Yeah, yeah I have. Now can I please go talk to 4!" 3 wanted to wrap this conversation up so he could go talk to him.

Everyone else looked at each other then Tari said. "Well, 4's locked himself in his room since you left. If you can somehow get him out of his room then you can talk to him."

3 smiled and cracked his knuckles. "I'll get him out of his room." he marched past them and kicked open 4's door.

3's eyes adjusted to the darkness and he heard 4's muffled scream as he marched in. 3 looked down and saw 4 lying on the ground, looking up at him. 3 knelt down beside him and took his hand.

"Have you just been lying here waiting for me?" he smiled at 4.

"3?" 4 looked up at him, his sapphire eyes filled with tears.

"It's time to get back on your feet scrub." 3 murmured, picking 4 up and hugging him tightly.

"3! It really is you isn't it!" 4 looked up at him, more tears welling up in his eyes.

"Yeah. It is me." 3 smiled at him. 4 started crying and buried his face into SMG3's chest. "Hey it's ok." 3 whispered, rubbing 4's back.

As 3 rubbed his back, his hand collided with a wing. 4 winced at that and his wing twitched away from 3's hand.

"Hey it's ok blue." 3 looked 4 in the eyes and ran his hand along 4's wing. SMG4 twitched but slowly eased into the touch.

"3 d-do you know why I have these wings? And horns. And ears and tails?" 4 started to get more anxious as he listed things off.

3 looked at him with soft eyes. "Yeah. I do know 4. But maybe we should talk to your friends first?" 4 looked past him and saw his friends standing outside of his room.

Oh my golly gosh two chapters in the same day? ALSO I FINALLY GET TO WRITE ABOUT THE TWO GAY BOYS INTERACTING. I'm so happy. also I left you on a cliffhanger. aren't I kind? I hope I did Bob's voice right.
