Episode 9

3 walked into the forest and closed the portal once he heard 4 step through. He started walking towards the main clearing but a voice above stopped him.

"You're just gonna leave me here? I was waiting for you." Frostwing jumped down from the tree she was sitting in and landed next to 3. "I was playing my guitar to be ready for the concert."

"What song?" 3 asked.

"Indieedgycool." she shrugged.

"What exactly are all the songs we're singing?"

"I'll send you the setlist."

3 turned back to 4. "Hurry up! We got shit we gotta do." he called to him. 4 caught up to him and Frostwing.

Frostwing looked at 4. "So this is 4 huh?" she looked him up and down before looking back up at 3. "He's cute. You have my approval."

"I didn't need your approval but thank you." 3 glanced over at 4, who was looking around the forest in wonder. He snapped his fingers, trying to get 4's attention.

4 turned around and looked at him. "Yeah?"

"Awww, his voice is cute too!" Frostwing smiled at him.

"Who's this?" 4 looked at Frostwing.

"This is Frostwing." 3 got pushed to the side as Frostwing pulled 4 into a hug.

"Ummm hi?" 4 squeaked.

"She's like this. Don't worry about it." 3 shrugged and watched as Frostwing hugged his boyfriend.

Frostwing pulled away from him and looked at 4 again. She turned to 3, "Seriously how does someone like you," she pointed to 3. "Get someone like this." she pointed to 4.

"First of all; ouch. Second of all; ask him." he pointed at 4.

Frostwing turned to 4, who was just standing there, with a questioning glance. 4 stared at her then switched his gaze to 3. He gave 4 a thumbs up and gave him a soft smile. 4 gave 3 a look that said 'help me'. 3 nodded and pulled Frostwing away from 4. He picked 4 up bridal style and gave him a small kiss. 4's face was bright red and he looked up at 3 then back at Frostwing, who was leaning against a tree.

"3 can you put me down?" 4 squeaked.

"Hm? Oh yeah." 3 nodded and put 4 down, who seemed a little shaky.

"You two are cute." Frostwing smiled and began walking towards the clearing. She turned back to 3 before going too far and asked him. "When are we gonna go on that double date? I told you that once you and 4 finally started dating that we had to go on a double date."

"Double date? You're dating someone?" 4 asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Yeah! I have a girlfriend named Whistlesong." Frostwing smiled.

"Guys we need to stop talking and actually do what we're here to do." 3 interrupted before anyone could say anything else.

"Fine. 4 I'm gonna be with you the whole day so we can talk more later." Frostwing began walking again with 3 and 4 in her footsteps.

"Question; does everyone here sing and play instruments and stuff like that?" 4 asked.

"Most of us do. There are some who don't but it's fine." Frostwing shrugged, not looking back at 4.

4 nodded and looked over at 3, who was staring at the ground with a blank expression. 4 tapped his shoulder and 3 sprang up, looking a little startled as he looked back at 4. "Yeah?"

"Hey.. are you ok? Do you need to talk at all?" 4 gently ran his hand through 3's hair and looked him in the eyes.

"I-i'm fine." 3 sighed and kept walking.
