MIA POV

I couldn't stand it, the embarrassment was killing me. How could Zaden go behind my back and hide such a thing from me. I thought she was dead, how did she survive that injury? I was under the assumption that Zaden had finally accepted  that I  was his mate, but how wrong was I  to have thought of that. For the past few days I have been trying to make a move towards him, but he won't even let me touch him.

"This is impossible, Enisa has to leave." I said fuming with contempt and Layla seemed to be fueling my anger with her silence. "Why aren't you saying anything Layla? I asked my wolf and she scoffed with a scornful tone. "I don't need to say anything to tell that you are already loosing your mind Mia, slowly but surely you will be frustrated, so frustrated that you will take your own life! She said and I raised a brow in despair. "Shut up! I said and she broke into a eerie laughter.

"What has gotten into you Layla? I am your master, my desires should be your top most priority, your rebellious attitude is driving me nuts Layla, stop it." I said and she growled angrily. "You will always need my help, you have a bad taste, just like all the Kayak family, your prowess skills won't get you anywhere Mia, admit that you need me and apologize for rebuking me " she said and I smiled wearily. I can't believe I am having a word battle with my spirit wolf, conflicted with my own wolf, how pathetic.

"Fine, I do need you, I will always need you Layla, you are everything to me and a part of me that cannot be replaced, forgive me already and let's move on, there I am done, are you satisfied? I asked waiting patiently for her  to answer me but she was quiet. Oh damn it, she just made me apologized for nothing, she has no intention of forgiving me anytime soon. "You are stubborn Layla, and that is a good thing, it shows that your master trained you well, but I am more vehement and very cogent with my dealings." I said walking up to my wardrobe I flang  it open.

Opening a hidden miniature cupboard inside the wardrobe I bought out a box, I heard Layla gasp in terror. "Is..is..is that what I think it is? She questioned stuttering. "Y...y..yesss! I said in a mocking tone purposely stuttering and laughed with a wicked grinned. "Common on now Layla, you really thought I wouldn't bring it along, then you don't know me very well." I said wiping the dust away from the box and slowly opening it, immediately a white smoke evolved hovering around me, spinning very fast like a tornado.

"Oh this feeling, I missed it! Power, such great power! I said feeling my power increase and suddenly the smoke vanished. "Mia, how could you take such a dreadful step? You are under an oath not to expose your sorcery or witchcraft to anyone, why did you bring your portion box along with you? Layla retorted and I scoffed and swayed my hips to a chair in the room and sat on it, crossing my legs.

"Hmm let's see, why did I do it? Why did I take such a drastic step? Because of Zaden, Layla! I screamed standing up almost immediately.  You have pushed me to this Layla, you won't help me, right? Then I will do things on my own terms, my life, my rules! I said suddenly wearing a sorrowful look. Father didn't let me pursue my passion for learning sorcery, but my thirst Led me to venture into the unknown, don't you understand Layla, I will do anything for Zaden, he has to be mine, he is all mine!

"Okay fine, I forgive you Mia, just stop all this charade, put that box away right now if possible set it ablaze." Layla said and my face read dismay. It is already too late Layla, the time I needed you the most you left me in the lurch, things are different now, things will go my way." I said taking a glass of wine and slowly sipping it. "Oh really Mia? You never needed me in the first place, you don't even pay heed to anything I say, my ideas are always thrash to you, I never left you in the lurch, I only stopped talking to you for a day to teach you a lesson, stop all these melodrama and put that box away." Layla said in a persuading manner.

"Hold your horses Layla, the drama has not yet started, don't even bother trying to convince me now, I have made up my mind, at times the wrong path might just be the right path after all", I said in a mocking tone and laughed but Layla was still bent on making me drop it. "Dark magic is not something that should be messed with Mia, I know I can be a handful at times but I still love you, I want what's best for you, just once hearken to my words, keep that box Mia", she said sounding so emotional, to be candour she almost caught me off guard there, her words were so soothing.
