Feeling the Spark

A/n pov:

Soobin: I asked you to sit on the bike, I will leave you at your residence.

Yeonjun: No need, I will look for myself.

Soobin: Can you ever listen to me? You will get no taxi now, just do as I say before I change my mind.

Yeonjun knew that he can't win this conversation.
Yeonjun sat on his bike.
Soobin looked through the mirror that Yeonjun was holding the rear seat handle.

He started the bike and followed the way as Yeonjun told him.

As they were about to reach Yeonjun's house.
Suddenly a speed breaker hit the front tire and due to a sudden jerk,
Yeonjun's grip on the handle lose and he almost fell on Soobin's back while his hands encircling Soobin's body.

Due to sudden contact,
Soobin's bike stopped.

Their eyes met as both of them looked in the mirror and then Yeonjun immediately removed his hands from Soobin's torso.

He got down from Soobin's bike and said,
"My home is in this alley only, thank you for helping me."
And then sprinted out of the place.

Soobin still was trying to process the situation.

His inner thoughts were:

What. Just. Happened.??

Yeonjun's arms around me, his chest against my back...That split-second felt like an eternity.

Those eyes in the mirror...Did he see the same spark I did?

Stop. Overthinking. Soobin.

But...the way he held on...like he didn't want to let go.

No, no, no. Coach and trainee. Boundaries.

But...that look...those hands...

Tomorrow's training...awkward or electric?

Can I keep my cool around him?

Deep breaths, Soobin.

Focus on the goal.

Not on those piercing eyes...

Or the way his touch sent shivers down my spine.

Note to self: Maintain professional distance.

Soobin's pov:

I reached office on time today but was because Yeonjun wasn't on his usual place.
I looked around and asked Mari.

He hadn't arrived?
But he is never late.

I kept looking at the clock.
A whole hour passed but he didn't show up.

Is it because of yesterday's incident??

I was really perplexed.
Why he didn't show up???

That's when 2 crack heads, I mean Taehyun and Huening entered the room.

"Why are you so moody today huh?", Huening asked me.

"Your coach didn't show up?", Taehyun said looking around.

"Oh that's why!!", Huening said while giving a teasing smile.

"What do you mean??", Soobin said.

"Tell me one thing, that day you were so aggressive about his presence and training.
And when now he is not here, you are sounding off, and what's the reason???", Huening questions.
