That day,
Soobin hands trembled as he clicked on the contact no.
After 2 rings,
"Hello?", Yeonjun said from the other side.
"It's Soobin. I.... I wanted to apologise about that day Yeonjun.
I just don't know what was i thinking.
I don't know why I reacted that way.
I just don't know.
I just want to request you that forgiving me is your choice totally but please don't question me.
I have no answers to any of your questions.",
Soobin explain all in one go.
Yeonjun heard all of it silently.
"Ok I won't question you. Just hope that you take care of yourself and not create such problems for yourself from next time because I am with you for some time only but you have......", before Yeonjun could continue Soobin interrupt him.
"Why do you always keep reminding me this. I mean I.... I know that you are my coach but you don't have to remind me that again and again.",
He blunt out.
Yeonjun just smile which show his sadness and helplessness.
"See you tomorrow, take care." Yeonjun said but he didn't cut the call.
Soobin just stood silently at his balcony, phone still near his ear
All they could hear was their breath.
The solace they found in that silence was something they were unable to understand but just feel.
Why?

Next morning,
Soobin sat at his desk, staring blankly at the reports in front of him. Yesterday's events still lingered in his mind.
He rubbed his temples, recalling the awkward apology call he made to Yeonjun last night.
"Good morning, Soobin," Yeonjun said, walking into the office.
Soobin's heart skipped a beat. "Morning."
Yeonjun dropped files on Soobin's desk. "Today's agenda: reviewing quarterly profits and discussing marketing strategies."
Soobin nodded, focusing on the task at hand.
Throughout the day, they worked side by side, Yeonjun guiding Soobin through the intricacies of corporate management.
As the lunch break approached, Yeonjun stood. "Let's grab lunch. We can discuss the Smith account."
Soobin pushed the thought away, determined to maintain professionalism.
In the elevator, Yeonjun turned to him. "Soobin, about last night..."
Soobin's heart raced. "Just forget it, Yeonjun."
Yeonjun's gaze lingered, but he nodded. "As you wish."
The elevator doors opened, and they stepped out into the bustling lobby.
They walked into the company cafeteria, the aroma of freshly cooked meals enveloping them. Yeonjun led Soobin to a quiet corner table.
As they sat, Yeonjun asked, "What do you think about the Smith account's proposal?"
Soobin pulled out his notes. "I think we should negotiate the terms. Their demands are steep."
Yeonjun nodded, impressed. "That's correct. You're learning fast, Soobin."
Their food arrived, while discussing business strategies.
Soobin couldn't help but steal glances at Yeonjun, his professional demeanor was not affected at all.
He focused on the conversation, determined to maintain his composure.
As they finished lunch, Yeonjun checked his watch. "We have a meeting with the marketing team at 2 PM. Be prepared."
Soobin nodded, gathering his thoughts. "Got it, Yeonjun."
Yeonjun's gaze lingered on Soobin, a hint of warmth in his eyes.
"You're doing well, Soobin. Your father will be proud."
Soobin's heart skipped a beat at the gentle tone.
Soobin immersed himself in the reports, analyzing every detail. Yeonjun observed him, noting the furrowed brow and intense focus.
"Questions, Soobin?" Yeonjun asked, walking over.
Soobin looked up, his eyes sparkling. "How do you think we can improve our market share?"
Yeonjun smiled, impressed. "That's exactly what I wanted to discuss.
Your thoughts?"
Their discussion flowed effortlessly, ideas bouncing back and forth.
As the marketing meeting approached, Yeonjun felt a sense of pride as he see Soobin's passion.
In the conference room, Soobin presented his ideas with conviction. The marketing team listened attentively.
Yeonjun watched, his gaze drifting to Soobin's hands as they gestured emphatically.
He felt a sudden pang, reminding of last night's apology call.
Was he reading too much into Soobin's emotions?

A/n pov:
Yeonjun and Soobin walked along the serene Han River, sunset casting a warm glow.
Their conversation turned gentle, leaving business behind.
Yeonjun asked, "Soobin, what do you do in your free time?"
Soobin smiled. "I play guitar. How about you?"
Yeonjun chuckled. "I used to Dance, but now a day I just enjoy listening to music and all."
As they walked, Yeonjun's shoulder brushed against Soobin's.
"Sorry," Yeonjun said, his voice low.
Soobin's heart raced. "No need to apologize."
Their eyes met, and for a moment, time stood still.
Without breaking eye contact, Yeonjun slowed to a stop. Soobin mirrored him.
They stood there, the Han River's gentle lapping filling the silence.
Yeonjun's hand drifted toward Soobin's.
Soobin's heart skipped a beat as Yeonjun's fingers grazed his. The gentle touch sent sparks through his body.
"Soobin," Yeonjun whispered, his eyes searching.
Soobin's lips parted, his voice barely audible.
Without any delay or regret Soobin took a step towards him closing the distance between them.
Yeonjun's eyes locked onto Soobin's,
He wanted to say something but couldn't give voice to his thoughts.
Their faces drew closer.
Just as their lips were about to meet, Soobin's phone rang, shattering the moment.
"Sorry," Soobin muttered, hesitating before answering.
Yeonjun stepped back, his expression masked.
"Dad?," Soobin said into the phone, his voice strained.
