Raven had just woken up an hour ago. It is now 10 AM. Raven sat down on the comfy sofa with a bowl of cereal in her apartment. It wasn't a big apartment, but it had all the space and things she needed to survive.
After the accident of Raven, all the siblings left the academy to live a 'normal' life, except for Luther.
Raven stayed a little longer in the academy, to rehabilitate from the accident. But soon after she left as well, hoping for a normal life.
That was easier said then done. Who goes and rent an appartment to a 16-year old looking girl? Exactly, no one.
This appartment is under the name of Diego, Raven's brother. He did this so she could live the normal life she wanted, which was actually kind of nice for a 'bad boy' like him.
Raven turned on the tv and let her back rest against the back of the sofa. She was eating her cereal an looked out of the window to the city. It was already really busy on the streets with cars and people.
Raven was deep in her thoughts untill she suddenly got taken back to reality by the voice of the news presenter.
She saw a picture of her dad, Sir Reginald Hargreeves.
She put the bowl of cereal on the table, grabbed the tv-remote and turned the volume up.
"The world-renowned scientist and eccentric billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves has died. The cause of death has not been revealed. Hargreeves is survived by his eight adopted children, all of whom were part of his Umbrella Academy—though the family has been estranged for years."
"Well shit."
For a second Raven felt a bit of grief, but that feeling didn't last long. She thought about the things her dad made her and her siblings go through. Maybe his death is for the best.
Raven was again deep in her thoughts about her childhood and her father when her phone rang.
Diego is calling was showing on her phone.
She picked up the phone.
"Yes, what is it?"
"Ravey, did you see the news?"
"I did. The old man has given up on life."
"Yes, but that is not the point. We have to go to the academy for the funeral."
Raven let out a big sigh.
"Fine, but you have to pick me up?
"I'll be at yours in an hour, okay?"
"Yes, sure. See you"
Raven hung up the phone.
Raven really didn't want to go the funeral of her dad and pay her 'respects', but it was the least she could do. Atleast she could see her siblings which is nice.
She quickly finished her bowl of cereal and turned of the tv. She went to her bedroom and put on some fresh clothes and got herself ready.
Diego was already waiting in his car when Raven hurried outside. Diego hung out of his car window. "You're late! Just like the old times huh? Nice to see you haven't changed physically or mentally."
"Oh shut it dickhead." Raven rolled her eyes and took a seat in the passanger seat.
Raven's appartment wasn't far from the academy, so it was only a short ride for the 2 siblings.
Raven and Diego had always been in contact after leaving the academy. You could almost say that they are real brother and sister bonded by blood, but that is not the case. They are bonded by trauma from their past.
