Bucky had taken you back to your room, once you had stopped crying. You had thanked him quickly before closing the door and laid on your bed with your head buried into your pillow. You took deep breaths trying to centre yourself and think over everything Thor had said to you, and how scared he had looked.

A light rasp at the door shook you out of your thoughts. You slowly dragged yourself out of your bed and opened the door to reveal Thor. You took in a deep breath looking to his tall frame fill your door. He looked down to you sombrely.

"Lady Y/n, I must apologise." Thor said, while you dropped your hand, anxiously fidgeting with your fingers.

"Thor, you don't need to-" You started.

"No, I do. I spoke of something that I don't know of truthfully. In my world it is legend, never seen. I- When I saw you, your fingers, memories of my father telling the legend became so vivid, and I only saw the destruction he spoke of. Yet, Stark and Rogers tell me that you are strong. That there has not been bad omens with your power." Thor dropped a knee to the floor his head down as he spoke again. "So I apologise for panicking you. I didn't mean to make you upset or scared of your powers." Thor finished, his head still down.

You took a moment to take in his words, they didn't undo the doubt he had caused but they did make you feel better about what had happened. You then took a second moment to smile softly at the fact that Thor, a god, was on his knees apologising to you.

"Thank you." You said finally, resting a hand on his shoulder. He lifted his head and looked at your face before standing tall once more, your hand sliding down his arm as he stood, towering over you.

"Today is my last day on Midgard before I return for Asgard. I wish to find out more about this legend and ask my father for information, with your permission Lady Y/n." Thor said, while you looked up at him.

"Of course you can Thor, you don't need to ask. Just... tell me if you find anything... important about it." You requested. He gave you a small nod. You were still doubtful if the legend that he mentioned had anything to do with you at all or if it was just some weird coincidence.

"Before I leave, Stark asked me to tell you that he would like to see you tonight at 7:30, in a meeting room." Thor said while leaving. You mumbled a thanks and closed the door. You hoped that Tony didn't want to see you because of your episode today.

You stood nervously at the door to Tony's office. You had been already standing here for two minutes debating whether you should go in or not. What if he was going to kick you out for not being strong enough? What if he thought you weren't 'Avenger' material? Not that he had ever claimed you were, but still. Your thoughts were running rampant.

You took a deep breath in before walking right up to the door and knocking before you could back out again. The door opened the second your knuckles hit it.

"Took you long enough." Tony said from a chair, as a man opened the door. As you walked in, you saw Tony at the end of a meeting table. You looked to all the other meeting chairs thankful that they were empty. If Tony was going to tell you to leave the tower, you didn't want it to be in front of everyone.

"Why did you want to see me?" You said nervously, fiddling with your fingers still standing near the door.

"Happy, can you give us a moment?" Tony said to the man who had opened the door, he quickly left as if he was never there.

"Sit down." Tony said as he flicked his legs up onto the table, leaning back into his chair his hands behind his head.

You slowly walked to the closest chair pulling it out and sitting down. You gulped, your mind was still racing.
