It had been two weeks since you had gone to see Vito with Bucky. Most of the first week had been spent in your room, ignoring everyone. Seeing Vito had messed you up, although you were grateful for Bucky, you were worried that it wouldn't be the last you would be seeing of him. On the drive back to the compound you had noticed Bucky's bloodied hands, but didn't ask what happened once you had left. Eventually most of the team had found out what had happened. You couldn't blame Bucky for telling Nat and Wanda, they were worried about you.

During that first week you also panicked about what would happen to your apartment now that you couldn't afford it without a job. You confided in Natasha and she had come with you to talk to Tony about staying more permanently. You offered to work for Tony for free, but he dismissed the idea. Instead, you spent the first week learning all the things that Stark tower, your new home, had to offer.

The second week you went to your old apartment with Wanda and Natasha to clear out your things and hand in your last payment to your landlord, Agnes. She was a sweet old lady who had offered you a much cheaper rent than what the apartment was worth, all because you bonded over the mutual loss of people close to you in the last few months. You always offered her with help with anything she needed, as a thank you for the deal. You gave her your new number and told her to call you if she ever needed anything.

You had spent a few days going to and from the apartment picking clothes into boxes and unpacking at the compound, but when nighttime came around you always seemed to find it hard to sleep. The nightmares were frequent, although your powers hadn't caused anymore midnight break ins, Wanda and Nat both stayed with you for a few nights. It took you forcing them out of your room and demanding you were okay for them to finally let you sleep alone again, but they never stopped offering.

During meal times you were finding it hard to eat anything, claiming it was due to being tired. But all you could think about was Vito and it had put you off your food. Wanda always asked if it was her cooking, so you would take a few bites just to reassure her it wasn't.

Training wasn't much different, you didn't go unless you were specifically asked by Steve or Tony. Even during training session, you weren't able to gain any control over the shadow like you had the first day. Wanda had thrown you against a wall and you had lost consciousness for a day. It took her a few more days to understand that you didn't blame her for it, but she still felt horrible. You kept telling everyone that you were having an off day. Training became harder for you to progress but you still tried.

That had left you in your room throwing a stress ball at a wall, all you did most days were hide out in your room. You didn't mean to, but you felt like you couldn't think if you were surrounded by the others all the time. You liked being in your room where no one could bother you.

"Y/nnnn" Natasha started calling your name from outside your door. You turned over groaning into your pillow as you heard the squeak of your door opening. You felt the bed dip as she jumped onto it, shaking the bed slowly, to annoy you. She was not going away. You rolled back over to face her as she looked down at you.

"Whaaaatttt?" you mimicked the tone she used for your name, with a rare smiling finishing it off.

"Come on," she extended her hand and jumped off of your bed. You took it reluctantly.

"We have to go and get the others. Tonys throwing a party, quick." She said excitedly.

"What?" You said eyes snapping open now. You took in her make up and curled hair, she was wearing a tight black dress that hugged her curves in all the right places, you couldn't help but stare at just how good she looked. "A party? Isn't it already 10pm? On a Tuesday?" You added looking at your phone.
