It's been hours since Sans had stacked out in the court hall. He leaned against one of the pillars. The hall was made out of dark silver and the windows were made of many shades of red. He closed his eyes and sighed, after his brother had been killed The King had gone on a rampage. Alphys had taken some MONSTERS and D3mons into her lab as a way to evacuate them. Those in there weren't safe, Sans had overheard from MONSTERS and Demons that was the humans next stop. Ali would probably overhear that and get there first. The flower was outside the doors of the hall ready to meet the human when they got there.
"THE HUMAN IS ENTERING SECTOR TWO, I REPEAT THE HUMAN IS ENTERING SECTOR TWO! THOSE IN SECTOR TWO ARE NOT SAFE AND MUST TAKE SHELTER OR EVACUATE TO THE CAPITOL!" It blared through the intercoms that were scattered throughout the kingdom. Sans leaned his head back and sighed as the buzz through the intercoms returned.
"UNDYNE HAS BEEN KILLED IN THE BETWEEN OF SECTOR ONE AND SECTOR TWO! I REPEAT UNDYNE HAS BEEN KILLED IN THE BETWEEN OF SECTOR ONE AND SECTOR TWO! THE HUMAN IS IN THE MIDDLE OF SECTOR TWO AND IS ABOUT TO FACE METTATON!" The intercoms shut off as Sans hit the back of his head on the pillar. Red outlines of eyes started showing up and looking at Sans and around him slightly. As soon as he noticed them he heard small voices but too quiet to hear really. The eyes were all over the pillar's, staring at him. Sans sighed and returned to hitting his head against the pillars, glad that this only caused physical damage and not soul damage.
"They are all dying and I can't do anything about it." Sans wheezed out a laugh as he slid down the pillar, he ran his hand over the crack. He felt something wet trail down from his eyes, complementing whether or not to touch it or not. There was an ache in his soul that made him want to shout, or scream. More of the wet stuff trailed from his eyes and he had to cover his mouth to prevent a scream. His body begged for oxygen even though he didn't need to breathe.
The flower appeared before him, worry etched on his stupid face.
"Are you okay? You look like you're having a real rough time there bud." Sans threw a bone attack at the weed who dodged it by going into the ground. The weed appeared again on the roof and risked being closer to the skeleton's face.
"You're having a demonic magic overload.." Sans touched the liquid on his face and pulled away, the liquid being black and smelled odd, like sin. He glanced back at the flower and sighed.
"Aren't you supposed to wait for the human?" The flower nodded and then said.
"There's another human who fell only a few hours ago, they're running through the ruins and are midway through Snowdin." Sans' eyes went black as he stood.
"Do you know their name?" The skeleton asked as Flowey nodded.
"Athan, their Frisk's sibling. They're here to stop Frisk." Flowey told the skeleton and glared at him.
"How do you know that?" Flowey diverted his attention to the floor.
"I tried to stop them and they told me their purpose. I think they're a satanist, like us." Sans looked at the wall and then at Flowey again.
"And they're in the middle of Snowdin?"
"Probably reaching Sector One." The buzz of the intercoms rang around the hall.
"THERE IS ANOTHER HUMAN REACHING SECTOR ONE AS THE FIRST HUMAN HAS KILLED METTATON AND MAKING THEIR WAY TO THE CAPITOL!" The intercoms buzzed and static rang out the room.
"THE HUMAN IS IN HERE- FUCK THE HUMAN IS HERE EVERYONE GET OUT- THE D3MON KING JUST GOT HERE- EVERYONE– OU- GE- WH-T THE F–K-." Sans stood as Flowey returned to his place by the door. Sans walked out to the middle of the hall. He had no one to protect, no one to care for, nothing to live for. He is a skeleton with no chains and he will no longer hold back.
That human better have come to rage.
He heard the footsteps before he heard the flower speak. He couldn't exactly make out what the flower was saying, but after a few minutes he heard the flower scream. The human slowly walked into the hall as they reached their hand out for something that wasn't there. The eyes on the pillars glared at them as they continued their walk towards him. Blood was left with every step the child took. The sound echoed through the mostly empty hall and skipped from wall to wall. The kids hair was crusty due to how much blood had stained it and their clothes looked like what you'd normally see down here.
