She and her family had gone to bed late the night before because they wanted to spend as much time as possible with Dad. Not to mention that it was Saturday. Bree woke up when she heard loud knocking at her window.

"Heyyoo Bree, wanna go out with us today? We're gonna party at Dave's house! His parents are out of town, and he's got all the 'good stuff' Jared shouted through Bridget's open bedroom window.

"Uhh hey there! Nah, I'm good, I'm sure... I barely woke up and my dad's here for the weekend and I want to spend as much time with him as possible. Besides, I'm not really the party type so I'm sure you're going to have more fun without me... So maybe some other time... " She said. Or not... Bree whispered, so Jared wouldn't hear her.

"Girl, get out of that room for once, please! Come with me! I insist! I'm not leaving until you come here. I'm not asking, so you better come before I drag you out here!"

Jared was always in a good mood, and Bridget wondered what she had done wrong in her life. Why wasn't she like him? She wished she could be so loose about life and just do whatever she wanted. I guess having strict parents might have contributed to the fact that she wasn't 'all free' but since her little sister was born, things were pretty chill for her. So why couldn't she be like him? For some reason, it felt wrong to lie to her parents and leave the house at this hour... I mean, it was almost noon, and what would happen if they found out? Would she be grounded for life? Probably not... Her little 3-year-old sister was a lot of work, so they probably wouldn't even notice. Although maybe Dad would if he tried to wake her up at some point only to find out she wasn't there. She was a good girl. She could break the rules just this once, right? Bree could just leave a note saying she'd gone over to Jere's... She wanted to spend the day with her dad, though. But then again, she wouldn't be gone that long. Just for a few hours, then I'll be back and have plenty of time to spend with Dad.

"All right, all right, I'll come... Let me just write a note to my parents saying that I'm going to your place."

"There's my girl, so hurry! The party has already started!"

The autumn air was cold, and the wind was strong, so when they got there since her hair was all messed up, she reached for her purse and brushed her hair so it wouldn't look like a bird's nest. Now she remembered why she hated parties so much. She could hear the loud music from kilometers away and the strong smell of punch and alcohol made her feel sick already and from that moment she knew that things wouldn't go as Jared promised. Something was going to go wrong.

"Jared, I don't think this is a good idea, maybe we should just go back to your place and watch a movie? Just the two of us."

"Oh, come on, we can't turn back now... We're here already and I said we were both coming. Just this once, do it for me? Please?"

"Um, I don't know, but I guess if you insist, I'll go inside too"

The first thing she noticed as they entered the house, was that there were a lot of small groups: first, were the cheerleaders with the football players, then there were the uncool "geeks" and unpopular girls, quite the miracle that they were there in the first place, but I guess these kids were just very entertaining to all the other cool girls and jocks. Then we saw Jared's friends and they were playing none other than the famous game: 'spin the bottle'.

"Yooooo, my man! Wassup? Who's the pretty friend over there? Your girlfriend?" His pal Dan was already wasted just like all his other friends who were playing there and so he didn't even notice that Bree was actually in his history class.

"Um, no... It's Bree, do you seriously not recognize her bro? You're in the same class as her. My goodness, what the heck happened to you people?" Jared burst out in laughter.
