Aeri.

When i came back home, i rushed to my room and threw myself on my bed, sighing.

Today was a very long day.

First, the most popular senior in my high school is in the dance club instead of the arts' one and he will help us with the moves that Mr. Park will teach us, that means that he'll see me dance.

The worst thing is that i failed all the basic moves in my first class and he noticed it. Upon failing to do a footwork for the tenth time, my senior approached me and helped me, explaining while showing me how it was supposed to be. Even though he put a lot of effort, i wasn't able to do it right and my classmates laughed at me.

And Han's fangirls were confused and disappointed as he wasn't in the arts' club.

They entered in that club for nothing.

When i told my friends about my day, they laughed —except Isa, who patted my shoulder reasuringly.

A knock on my door starled me and my mother entered in my room.

—How was your day? — Mom asks me.
I groan and cover my eyes with the back of my hand —Horrible. I'm in the dance club with the most popular senior and i've embarassed myself while trying to do a simple footwork. God, he even had to approach me, explain me and show me the same move a lot of times and i still failed.
—Sweetie... i also had a bad day —. Mom says —. Regarding you... it's ok. No one can do footwork in their first attempt, even though it seems easy.
I sit up and look at her —. And you? What happened?
She sighs and rolls her eyes —. A boy threw a stone and broke my office' window, then ran away. I tried to follow him but i gave up.
—Oh, god. I think he was bored.
—Bored or not, no one can break something from someone's property, and that includes windows.
—True...
—Well... your birthday is coming up —. Mom changes the topic abruptly —. And this time it's important and special.
I scoff, offended —. Does that mean that my previous ones aren't?
—No. Every birthday is important, but this is more as you'll get your soulmark.

Not again, please.

—Ok... so what? — I ask.
—So what? How can you...—. She sighs —. Nevermind.
—I mean, don't get me wrong, i'm excited to get my soulmark, but... how am i going to meet him or her? Even if i meet them, i'm afraid of how will my other half be, i'm afraid of...
—Nonesense —. She cuts me —. Stop watching series, please, i swear it's affecting you so much.
—I...
—And soulmates are your other half, so nothing wrong will happen. Look at your father and me. We met in high school and we realized that we were soulmates three years later. And we're happy together, you will too. I'm sure of that. — Her eyes softened.
I let out a shaky breath —. You're right. I just...i'm afraid of not meeting my soulmate...
—It's ok —. She pats my head —. You'll eventually meet your soulmate when it's the right time. Don't worry about that.
I nod and clear my throat —. By the way... my birthday is in some months, like...half of the year.
—So what? What if you get your mark before? What if you meet him or her sooner? Time flies, remember that.
I smile —.Thank you. Well... you should fix your broken window if you don't want neither a bird or a stealer to enter our house.
She puts her hands up in defense —Ok, i get it. You don't want me here, ok. Well, bye —. She leaves the room.

I sigh and stare at my white ceiling.

And i don't know when, i driffted to sleep.

'~'~'~

—You're telling me that i could've met Han Taesan-nim if i've chosen your club?! My best friend shouts and scoffs —. Oh my god... and all those poor girls that entered in the arts' club hoping to be with him...
—Yeah, well. I couldn't believe it either —. I say —. I thought that Hyunjin-nim was going to be in the dance' club, but it turned to be Taesan-nim.

She averts her eyes, a pout evident in her lips. I grab some popcorn from the bowl we're sharing and eat them.

I then clear my throat —. Look, at least you're with Sion-nim —. I try to lighten the mood, but she ignores me.

I huff annoyed and focus back on the movie that we're watching.

And yes, Aeso wasn't lucky too. She entered in the cooking club because she didn't have a choice and... let's say she doesn't like her senior that much.

—But i wanted to be with Kyungmin-nim at least —. She mumbles.
—Well, Sion-nim isn't that bad —. Isa, my other friend says —. He's kind and he helps out anyone who needs him. He's a green flag.
—But he's not Kyungmin-nim...
—And i wanted to be with Sunghoon-nim and i'm with Jake-nim instead! —A-young says, frustrated.
—Oh well, at least you're with a member of his group —. Aeso rolls her eyes.
—Look —. I say —. Life isn't fair. I wanted to be with Hyunjin-nim and i'm not.
—But you're with Han Taesan-nim! Why are you complaining!?
—I've got the rights to complain whatever i want!
—My god. I'm the oldest here, shut up!
—Eonni~
—I'm not here.
—Then why do you reply?
—Can we change our club? — Aeso suddenly asks.
—No.
—Aw~
—We're stuck in the club we're in for the rest of the year — Isa says.

Aeso pouts again and we focus back on the movie that we've lost half of the plot.

So... this was a filler.

I will make this a bit slow, but not that slow, yk?

I won't spoil you ;).

Well... how was it? Have you enjoyed it?
