7|Needed talk

Aeri has hanged out with Shinyu more than with her friends since the day after she talked with the boy for the first time. Her friends didn't mind though —as they had something to tease her, — they even kicked her out of her own house, telling her to have some fun and not to come back until late at night. But someone who was an important person in her life —even though she didn't know yet and she'd deny if someone asked her — started to avoid her.

Today, she's going to the caffè where Leehan works at with her new friend. A date, you could say. Even though Aeri felt that it was too rushed as she's just met him some days ago, she agreed.

She knew that the boy liked her, but...did she?

Maybe. She somehow liked him due to his intelligence, his personality and looks, apart from that, she felt comfortable with him. But she now had to know whether her feelings were as a friend or in a more romantic way.

I'm calling Taesannie but he's not picking up, he hasn't even read my texts.

Maybe he's busy? If so... with what?  his basketball team?

I normally wouldn't mind as much as I'm doing now because I understand that everyone has their business and stuff, but Taesan has been avoiding me since the day after I went to watch the basketball training with Aeso. I've tried to approach him whenever I saw him passing by, but when we made eye contact, he turned around and walked away.

Isa told me that he probably needed some time alone so I didn't try to talk to him for two days, but it has passed half of the week and, upon seeing his reaction whenever he saw me, I know he doesn't need time by himself because he's avoiding me.

And though it hurts me, I can't do anything because I've tried everything. So if he wants to talk to me, I'll listen to him, but I won't try to approach him again unless he does.

My phone suddenly vibrates in my pocket, I take it out and check the notification which is from Kakaotalk.

My heart starts to beat fast and my hands tremble as I enter in the app, hoping it to be from the one who I've wanted to talk to. But upon seeing the ID, my heart sinks and a feeling of disappointment and sadness creeps into me.

How could I think that it was going to be him? Why am I so hopefull and dumb?

I sigh. It's Shinyu. I open the chat i have with him.

I close the chat and put my phone in my pocket again.

At least I can still talk with Leehan seonbae, right? I haven't talked with him since we met and he seems kinda quiet and kind...

I enter the place and approach the counter. I furrow my eyebrows upon seeing no one.

—Aeri? — A familiar voice calls me.

My heart suddenly beated faster as I turned around. There stood a confused Leehan, who was wearing his work uniform which consisted of a white t-shirt with orange and yellow lines, black trousers, a red cap with a pizza draw in the middle of it, a red apron with a pizza as well in the middle of it and the tag with his name shining on his t-shirt.
