5| Love confession?!

Two months have passed since Aeri became Taesan's friend. They only interacted either on Kakaotalk or outside their high school to avoid any kind of scandal. However, they've became very close in a short period of time—it wasn't difficult tho as they had some things in common.

Leehan was a bit jealous as he also wanted to be the girl's friend, but he knew he couldn't yet, since he was very busy with his work in the caffè and his homework. This week, he hasn't slept much as he finished his work at 1:00 a.m and he had to go to class at 8:00 a.m. But despite being tired, he managed to have a smile on his face.

He was also a bit mad at his friend because he felt that Taesan was hanging out with Aeri more than with him, —he even asked him if he could hang out with them, but even if he wanted to, he knew he couldn't . But that doesn't mean that he'd never get what he wants.

Today was the white day—the first day of this celebration as their school celebrated this during a full week—meaning that girls and boys had a chance to express their feelings toward their crush. The students wrote letters and then gave it to their lovely one, some of them even gifted some chocolate or a teddy bear and at the end of the day —or for those who were impatient, during the day — they all counted and read their letters to tell their friends.

Some letters were very clingy, some were embarrassing, and some were weird. But they all expressed the same: love.

Aeri made a bet with her friends that consisted of who would get the most letters among them. Even though Aeri disagrees at first, she somehow got convinced by Isa.

Aeri.

I didn't want to go to class today, but I didn't have an option. It was either I go or my friends would come to my house and break my door.

So yeah, I'm currently heading toward my locker with my friends, and let me tell you that the girls hadn't stopped teasing me and asking me the answers for the English exam.

—But are we going to have to write or complete sentences with the past simple, continuous or the verb to be? — Isa asked me for the tenth time.
I groaned, already tired—I don't know, girl. Each class has their own exam, all of them are different —. I say —. And let me tell you that I had to complete with the future perfect.
—Oh...
—By the way, don't you know the verb to be already? —Aeso asks, looking at Isa.
—Of course i know. I just...wanted to make sure, yeah — the feline eye girl replies.
I roll my eyes —sure~

We continued walking, laughing and bickering with each other until we arrived in front of our lockers. However, when I opened mine, I didn't expect to be surprised with a lot of letters and gifts.

—Woah...
—Holy... —Don't finish that sentence, Jung A-young — Isa says in a threatening way.

I looked at them shocked and then looked at the floor—where all the letters laid messy.

—What kind of prank is this? — I ask.

They give me a perplexed look, mirroring mine.

—You...how...woah. I didn't know you were this popular, Aeri-ah — Aeso playfully says.
—Girls...help me gather all these letters, please — i plead.

They nodded and bent down, gattering the most letters they could. I grab one and throw  it to the floor, disgusted.

—Who the hell sent me all these? And why does this one specially smell so freaking sweet? — I ask.
Aeso, who's the closer to me, stops and smell the letter that i have just thrown and furrows her eyebrows —. Girl, that has at least a half bottle of perfume.
—I know, right?

Ten minutes later, we finish gatttering all the freaking letters and we go outside to sit on a bench. I let all the gifts and letters on the bench.

—So... with which do i start? — I ask.
—um... what about this one? — A-young hands me an old brown envelope.

I take it from her and open it, as soon as i opened it, i started to read internally.

Dear Aeri.

I'm happy that we have finally started the white day because i can finally tell you how i feel toward you.

Whenever i see you from afar, my heartbeat becomes faster, it beats so fast that i think it'll leave my chest and i'm afraid that you'd be able to hear it. However i know it's not possible ㅋㅋ.

You are a very cute and positive person. You are beautiful and smart.

—Imagine that the same person has sent you all of these — Isa says.
—Shut up, i'm trying to read — i say.

I just wanted to tell you that i... i like you. I have liked you since the first time i saw you.

I know you must be confused as to why am i suddenly writting this and sending it to you and that you don't know who i am yet, but i wanted to tell you this.

Do you want a hint? I am in the school's basketball team.

I hope fate makes us meet again soon :)

—And? What does it say? — A-young asks, trying to read a sentence, thanks god i'm faster and i hide it before she can.
—It's just a normal confession — i say.

They look at me not believing my words, but they shrugg it off.

—Well... and from who's it? — Aeso asks.
—I don't know. It doesn't mention his name —. I pout —. But it says he's in the school's basketball team... it also says that his heartbeat become faster whenever he see me.
—That means...
—We can find him! — Isa exclaims, happy.
—How? — I ask, confused.
—Let's go to the basketball's training and let's try to find him! — A-young shouts.
I widen my eyes —what?! We can't just...
—We can —. Aeso says —i got permission to see their training and i can bring someone with me.

What do i do now?

—Uh...ok. I guess it won't hurt if i go, right? What's the worst that can happen anyway? — I say.
—Exactly! Good choice, Aeri — Aeso replies.
—And as their training starts Tomorrow, we can read and know if all the letters are from the same person today! — Isa says.
—Why do i feel like you are more excited than i am? — I ask —. It's me who got the letters amd gifts tho...
—I don't know, but i hope to get at least one letter!
—Isa, calm down! You already have a...
—I don't!
—But you've found your soulmate. You can't betray him like this! And neither can you ignore fate's decision! — Aeso says.
—I don't care~
—Let's go back home, please —. A-young says.

We tidied everything and stood up, ready to go back home.

Sorry for the late update, i wasn't going to do it anyway, but as it's Leehan's day, i wanted to do it.
